I am going tp copy and paste what I wrote in another thread:

Regarding Carter Page:
Much has been made of the fact that he was being watched under a FISA warrant as early as 2013.

If there was a FISA warrant issued on him back then, what did they find?

There wasn't a FISA warrant on Carter Page in 2013.

They did interview him though and he did pass documents to Russian Spies that were later convicted and are now in jail.

The rest of you post is irrelevant due to you mistake above.

If he previously passed documents to Russian spies...
Why would the FISA court deny a warrant, when they hand them out 98+% of the time?

Is that irrelevant too?

They didn't need a warrant on Page then. They had a warrant on the spies he handed information over to.
He was not the primary target.
They brought page in and interviewed him. He played dumb and they made note to watch him going forward.

Oh of course. Everything that destroys the Dem talking points is irrelevant/conjecture/conspiracy/insert arbitrary diversion here. Everything that is nebulous, completely unproven/unsubstantiated will be treated as if it were absolute/immutable.

Talk about fallacy..............................

Thankfully we know better. And given our election win, we're clearly the majority. I am thankful for that, otherwise the country would've likely ceased to exist in any meaningful way. At least Dems would've elected their boring, plain establishment insider who was fired from Watergate for lying/unethical behavior. You know, a real champion for justice and integrity.

I almost threw up in my mouth just typing those clearly false things about Clinton. She is a shrill and vindictive person and a very little person.

Are you seeing the pattern here?

This isn't the first time she devolved into completely unsubstantiated and paranoid ramblings about a conspiracy against her.

Yes.

The pattern is that every time you guys get all fevered up and excited about something, it ends up BS and posters start talking about HILLARY...But But HILLARY..

It's becoming more sad than funny.

Nope.
There wasn't a FISA warrant on Carter Page in 2013.
The poster went on a screed based on BS.
I simply pointed out his screed was premised on BS.
Facts aren't partisan.

They brought page in and interviewed him. He played dumb and they made note to watch him going forward.

And they still couldn't get a FISA warrant on him in 2016... even though the FBI made a note to keep an eye on him.

You're basing that on an anonymous source, presumably Schiff due to him and Gowdy being the only ones that reviewed the Intel, and corroborating that with someone who read Schiffs memo. His memo I assume also doesn't have the background information to prove his claim. It'll just be him claiming the opposite of Nunez, but it will be a fully dressed burger in your eyes it seems.

No, they're not. But willfully ignoring those facts is ignorance.

And you people ignore a whole hell of a lot of facts.

You're still talking about Hillary. She's the one who claims someone is always out to get her, every time her far-left radical BS feminist agenda gets shot down by the majority.

Get over it. We don't want that agenda. We don't want those politics, and we most certainly do not want Hillary. I don't even want her in this country, but I'll settle for keeping her out of the WH/future public serviceexploitation

IF Comey/Mccabe didn't know who funded the Dossier, then how did they properly inform the FISA courts? Wouldn't that in and of itself mean they didn't tell the FISA courts about the political background of the dossier? Why is there this difficulty in finding this info out for the Congress? FBI is accountable to the Congress. Why did it have to be a court that revealed who funded Fusion? Why did the Dem's try and obstruct this fact?

Precisely. And accountable to the President as well.

The fact some have tried (and failed, as usual) to spin this another way is telling. They act as though the FBI were doing congress a "favor" by releasing classified information. When in reality, FBI works for the President and is entirely beholden to the people via congress/executive.

If they keep playing these little games with our Constitution, Trump should summarily shut them down without advance notice. On a weekday morning, the order should suddenly come down from the top. 5 minutes to pack your desk, belongings, turn in your creds/weapon/keys and permanently get lost. Non-holdovers should have a job waiting for them in DHS or USMS with their newly expanded roles. It is clear FBI has lost their way from "Fidelity Bravery Integrity" and they have a whole lot of work to do to earn that trust back - which isn't going to happen by not fully cooperating with congress/POTUS and basically "coming to jesus" about past-criminality. People will have to be imprisoned, lose everything, etc. But forgiveness/leniency is much easier to swallow when the guilty party confesses to their crimes, not when you have to pry it out of them.

No person or agency is irreplaceable. This country got along fine for hundreds of years with only a US Marshal and Customs house officers. Abuses/criminality must not be tolerated, and the blame must be pinned squarely on the corrupt little weasels that caused this.

Protecting freedom/individual rights is the top priority. No enforcement of (mostly) meaningless federal laws is worth even putting a single person's freedom/liberty in the slightest bit of jeopardy.

BOMBSHELL: GOP Investigators Have Evidence Christopher Steele Approached FBI in July – The SAME DAY Comey Exonerated Hillary Clinton

Media was set ablaze after the House Intelligence Committee released their classified FISA memo on Friday morning.

The unclassified memo shows former FBI Director James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Yates and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein misled the FISA court.

The Democrats are unhinged and desperate to release their spin junk memo in response to Nunes’ bombshell.

Ranking member of the House Intel Committee Adam Schiff gave us perhaps a sneak peak into what the Democrats are going to push back with in their memo set to be released next week.

It looks like the Dems are banking on none other than Papadopoulos being the nexus of the Russian collusion investigation rather than Hillary’s phony dossier.

On Saturday morning, Adam Schiff attacked President Trump on Twitter after the president tweeted, “This memo totally vindicates “Trump” in probe. But the Russian Witch Hunt goes on and on. Their was no Collusion and there was no Obstruction (the word now used because, after one year of looking endlessly and finding NOTHING, collusion is dead). This is an American disgrace!”

Their was no Collusion and there was no Obstruction (the word now used because, after one year of looking endlessly and finding NOTHING, collusion is dead). This is an American disgrace!”

Schiff responded to POTUS, “Quite the opposite, Mr. President. The most important fact disclosed in this otherwise shoddy memo was that FBI investigation began July 2016 with your advisor, Papadopoulos, who was secretly discussing stolen Clinton emails with the Russians.”

Adam Schiff is being very deceptive in his response to the president. Papadopoulos wasn’t even discussing the Podesta emails which were blasted out to the public via WikiLeaks in July of 2016. Papadopoulos was discussing Hillary’s ‘missing’ emails in April of 2016, A MONTH before the Podesta emails were given to WikiLeaks. These ‘Hillary emails’ are completely separate from the Podesta DNC emails.
Furthermore, Republican investigators have evidence dossier author Christopher Steele met with the FBI on July 5th 2016 which is the EXACT SAME DAY former FBI Director James Comey exonerated Hillary Clinton.

John Solomon of The Hill reported this bombshell news:

Republican investigators say they have evidence that Steele first approached the FBI with his allegations on July 5, 2016, the same day then-FBI Director James Comey announced he would not pursue criminal charges against Clinton for passing more than 100 classified documents through her private email server.

Hey, you posted a quote that said the DoJ was requesting a case be dropped, and followed it with a statement that that proved the case wasn't viable. That's two different things completely.

And you're right: I didn't spend a lot of time researching what you said. Wanna know why?

Gowdy say the underlying intelligence.
He knew the MEMO was a lie.
He is sickened by his colleagues, Nunes et al.
Announces he is leaving politics the day before the MEMO was released.

That's why. When you start channeling people, I start tuning out. There is only one... single... non-plural... less than two... uno... e^i2pi... unity... one person on this entire planet about whom you can make accurate statements concerning their intentions and thought process. That's you.

Anyone else is just you making a fool of yourself, and I don't care to participate in that endeavor. I certainly am not going to waste precious time doing so.

Damn!
It's really mind blowing how the Democrats have corrupted everything. You literally could not make this stuff up for a blockbuster movie. These people are genuinely evil. I honestly don't understand how people can behave this way. They must be literally brainwashed, possessed or have some different sort of DNA. I cannot comprehend or put into words how insane this entire story is playing out.

Same conclusion I have come to, notice the reference below to Jim Jones...

How can someone have an unreasonable political philosophy that is self-defeating and irrational and still hold their head up as a person of sense? They can’t, and the reason that they appear to do so is because we are mistaking modern day liberalism as a movement of rational thought and philosophy. It’s not. It’s a religion. More accurately, it’s a cult.

4 Reasons Liberalism Is A Cult

On the other side, liberalism is now not merely a political philosophy compatible with many kinds of religion but has itself become a religion. Liberal ideology ultimately rests on an act of faith. It can never be discredited by historical events, because the believer simply knows it to be right. Liberal ideas are considered self-evidently true, and, in their present ascendancy, liberals prefer merely to assert those ideas rather than discuss them. The religion of liberalism makes demands on the individual that traditional religion is no longer allowed to make.

The Religion of Liberalism & the New Heretics

Liberals are always the first ones to deride and mock people of faith. To those on the left, all religions are equivalent to a cult. Yet, secular or not, liberals themselves are the most cult-like of all Americans. For example, modern-day progressives would never admit that Jim Jones of Jonestown fame adhered to the same socialist Utopian ideologies as their esteemed leader Barack Obama. Now, in the political realm, the past is repeating itself. Liberal devotees are exhibiting a religious zeal they themselves would normally mock in others.

Even more disturbing is that, with an eerie similarity to Jonestown’s cult-like enthusiasm, anti-religion liberals are eagerly lining up to partake of a cyanide-laced socialistic healthcare plan being fed to them by a charismatic leader named Barack Obama. And while Obama is certainly not encouraging mass suicide, in essence, the end result will be larger and more devastating.

Is a Political Jonestown Coming to America?

While that is possible, I think it's more than that.
I tend to lean towards what Michael Savage has always stated: "Liberalism is a mental disorder"
I don't say that to be funny or rude but I am really starting to believe it literally.

The only thing mildly interesting in this nothing burger of a memo was FISA not being told it was politically funded.

That turned out to be a bald faced lie.

I give it a week before Donald starts tweeting about how Nunes is a Democrat Plant made to embarrass him.

I gotta give you credit in this thread you have made alot of posts about this subject, most have received no stars with a few getting one star as if little or no one agrees with what you are saying. Undeterred you keep pounding away post after post almost as if this is your..............job.

Cheap shot.

Some folks (myself included) get on a topic like a dog with a bone.

And some folks (myself included) have nothing better to do than argue with strangers on the internet about important things that we have no real role in.

Its what passes for "acting sane" in 2018. LOL

Yes they did vote, however, Nunes, did not answer questions. That is a problem.

Yes this information is classified, but you know, the President can easily say, it is to be released and to declassify that information. And as the President is empowered by the constitution to do such, then having a hearing on classified information, namely within this context around the memo, it would not be a problem.
