I think this is great. IMO this is not "crumbs" that middle class employees are receiving. That wicked witch, Pelosi, said the benefits that Americans received from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act were “crumbs" and “pathetic.” Sorry Nancy, this is good news for the middle class.....Unemployment is down, bonuses and increased benefits for middle class families, a reduction in middle class taxes and a strong stock market has helped boost middle class 401K accounts. President Trump's administration has done more in one year for the middle class, than President Obuma did in eight years.

The bonuses will be based on an employee's length of service with Lowe's, and more than 260,000 part- and full-time individuals are set to receive the payouts, the company said. Lowe's declined to comment on how the bonuses would be broken out based on tenure.

Effective May 1, Lowe's will also be expanding its benefits package for full-time workers to include paid maternity leave for 10 weeks, paid parental leave for two weeks, adoption assistance of up to $5,000, and faster eligibility for health benefits, the memo said.

If Pelosi knows what crumbs are, why didn't she tell any other dems? They didn't even give the middle class crumbs apparently.

Less than 2 years: Full-time employees = $150; Part-time employees = $75
2 to 4 years: Full-time employees = $200; Part-time employees = $100
5 to 9 years: Full-time employees = $300; Part-time employees = $150
10 to 14 years: Full-time employees = $500; Part-time employees = $250
15 to 19 years: Full-time employees = $750; Part-time employees = $375
20+ years: Full-time employees = $1,000; Part-time employees = $500

20 years to get the maximum amount. Wow.

And only a thousand dollars at that. That's less than a monthly mortgage payment for a lot of people. Yay?

Walmart is also making noises about bonuses to employees. Isn't it funny how they're also making huge cuts right now as they close down Sam's Club locations nationwide? Sure, some get a bonus, but at what cost? The loss of other employees jobs?

Maybe it's a coincidence, but it just seems interesting that these bonuses come right on the heels of shutdowns and layoffs.

What is Lowe's niche? Menards and Home Depot drove Lowes out of the Chicago area.

It's not funny at all, what's really sad is that those that are cheering this on as a win are so #ing stupid they cannot see the big picture. When push comes to shove in 4 years or so these very same people will be crying about how they were shafted.
