Not lost in music, but found
The language of music
so much more sincere
painting paths of life
spinning wheels lifting us up
droping us down.
Those sounds inviting us
to stand aside
from the loud voices
the marching orders.
Each tone easily crosses borders
slipping through twisted words
my eye turns around every corner of fate
with the sounds of guitars
full of sentiment and yes even some lament.
But this I prefer to being stuck
in someone's mind, in some kind of a groove
or a ditch.
Music at times is sublime
dancing through time.
Far away from the clutches
of the evil and vile.
Who all they do is seek
to make out lives.
A series of knots and binds.
Separation of cultures.
Those vultures that prefer
death over the living kind.
Yes, it's those kinds
I leave far away, lost in a distant scenery.
The sound of music
elevating me away from
the power of the dime.
From where comes forth
those chimes.
Those bells of awakening
that remind.
Only Eternity is sublime.

You never fail to inspire me with your words. The instant I saw the guitar I'm reminded of this beautiful piece by Yes

To quote the Master of Words, William Shakespeare.... "If music be the food of love, play on".

To (mis)quote someone else... On children "...no music so sweet as their clear and ringing laughter".

I agree with both.

Oh, and the OP. Good words, well made.
