The tree is hearty and bearing abundant fruit.

Not if the FISA warrant is proven to be obtained by less than honest means.

Can't use false info for FISA warrants, 10yrs in prison.

Can't alter 302's like McCabe asked.

The "matter" is toast.

The meltdown will commence when the memo is released.

I really don't understand the desire by anyone (other than maybe Flynn and his friends and family) to see Flynn walk. Disregard the lying to the FBI about his communications to undermine sanctions imposed against a hostile foreign adversary interfering in our election.

At the same time he was doing that, he was also illegally lobbying for Turkey and using his position to publish propaganda for American audiences that they were paying him for.

Why shouldn't Flynn be held to account? All this chanting about "draining the swamp" from so many people who seem intensely eager to see Flynn and the FAR FAR FAR worse Manafort and Gates walk.

But Jake Tapper (CNN) says that it's not a big deal, because the Dossier was only a small part of the evidence package that was used to obtain the FISA warrant. A Federal Judge requires most of the evidence to be generated by the intelligence community.

I don't think Tapper knows what he's talking about. Wasn't the Dossier generated by an operative of the Intelligence community???

I have no desire to see a guilty person walk free just because I pointed out that using a person's child to coerce a plea or confession doesn't inspire confidence in that plea or confession.

Maybe Flynn needs an HQ Special, like Cilnton had,
I mean why should she be the only one to get special
treatment? Just because he doesn't have a "Foundation"
pay for play program doesn't mean he isn't special.

Yeah, Mueller and the swamp can be trusted.

it`s probably because Flynn has agreed to testify against someone who has not yet been indicted.

in a plea deal where you agree to testify against someone you never get sentenced until AFTER you have testified, because the DA wants to make sure that you live up to your part of the deal.

if your testimony doesn`t exactly match what you told the DA, then the deal is off and you get smacked with the maximum sentence for what you were found guilty of.

Unless you were part of the Clinton Cabal.

Then you could delete evidence, bleach bit it. Lie about it,
cover up and still get immunity. Even after you lied to Congress
about it.

They claim it interferes with their interview methods and building a rapport with the interviewee.

It's a bad reason. One that I don't buy, at all.

Wow, and a lot of good that even does if they do not even
take the interview under oath. Like ...er ..um.... Clinton.

Who even gets that kind of kid glove treatment.

There was only one FISA warrant and it was for Carter Page who had already been under investigation for dealings with Russian spies since 2014.

Oh also...The dossier is not fake. Never was.

You realize Mr Page is an American Citizen right?

And you realize FISA is for foreigners, not American Citizens right?

😁

Filed today...Mueller postponed sentencing for Flynn....

Odd timing methinks!

Download and look at top of pdf...Filed Jan 31...wonder what happened that has Mueller postponing the sentencing?

It means Mueller is not done yet, even if the defendant has plead guilty.

I have to admit it is a very interesting twist. However postponing his sentencing doesn’t help him in any way. What is Flynn going to do, go undercover or squill even more then before?

He already has his plea.

Mueller's move protects the integrity of the failing special counsel investigation. If sentencing goes forward and is thrown out because of the way the guilty plea came about it will end the special counsel. By withdrawing it he is putting off the inevitable.

It also explains the 2nd bogus dossier and the leaks coming from Rod Rosensteins office.

Right because court cases never have continuances.

It is actually illegal to do that.

Not generally for sentencing of a deal to plead guilty. Usually in those types of plea deals the sentence is agreed to by both parties and the judge rubber stamps it.

Hang in their though... you will eventually get one right.

Is that so?

Has the informant been used in the case yet? Because usually in that situation it's easier for the lawyers to interview the informant outside of jail.

But you probably knew that.

Do you think his sentencing may be based on his cooperation?

www.washingtonexaminer.com...

There is no sentencing date yet in Flynn’s case. The judge said Flynn must check in once a week and would not be held in custody ahead of sentencing. He scheduled a status hearing for February 1.
