Really? Did ATS need another 'HURRRR LIBRUHLS ARE STOOPID!' thread?

Enjoy your star harvesting I guess. But seriously, this childish stuff is pretty embarrassing. You also clearly know absolutely nothing about liberalism.

If this post sums up liberals of today, does the existence of this thread sum up conservatives of today?

Oh, moving the goalposts.

Trump didn't say, "By throwing all the DACA kids out of the country!"

He said he supported a path to full citizenship for them which is even a break from simply legalization! Isn't that what you want? To make them citizens?

But, of course, now you can't support what the president says because some other people *not the president* want to deport illegal aliens.

Nice moving the goalposts.

I didn't move any goal posts, I was just answering your question.

Yeah, Trump "said" he supported the DACA people, and that's all he did. That's kind of the point.

He didn't watch the actual speech. He let Buzzfeed and CNN tell him what was said. That's what they all do. That's where the disconnect is.

To be fair, right-wingers do this too. They don't read or listen to the original source material and instead listen to what Breitbart said about what they said.

Nice assumption. Those seem to be in style now.

So the offer is made.

If Trump says he supports it and the offer is on the table and he doesn't bargain in good faith, then that is on him. But if you were in charge of the process, then you are already making the assumption that the offer is not being made in good faith from the get go.

What happens of the GOP passes an immigration package with a border wall, immigration enforcement, employment enforcement, the merit based immigration system and end to chain migration AND some form of amnesty for DACA kids (but maybe not quite as generous) all on their own and the Demcrats refuse to talk turkey at all?

How will that make the 'crats look to the DACA kids they basically abandoned?

One thing I got a chuckle about.

Reps: We are gonna stop having immigrants send for their entire family after

Also Reps: Look at this brave north korean hero who escapes a sh-thole country and sent for his entire family after

There is no consistancy, no stances, no substance.
Feckless partisanship
Naked tribalism.

That awkward feeling when you try to explain to a random that not all liberals are democrats.

Pigs fly? Is that the correct expression?

To be honest dude, you haven't really made it seem like that ISN'T what you do. Because despite what was ACTUALLY said, you regularly take issue with what other people said Donald Trump said or believes.

You rarely actually have credible sources to back up what you have. When you do have a credible source, it's misrepresented the SAME WAY that media like CNN and Buzzfeed misrepresent stories about the president.

Quite frankly, you all sound EXACTLY the same.

Yeah, because the 'crats will be busy sitting there refusing to participate. After all, anything Republicans do is racist, right?

So then when the midterms come, they'll all go home and run on how they prevented the DACA kids from being legalized.

GENIUS!

When Trump talked about paid family leave, not just legalization but a path to citizenship for DACA kids, infrastructure spending ... those are all things Democrats have stated over and over and over that they are for and they have pushed and pushed for them in the past. Why couldn't they stand for those?

Possibly because of all the shenanigans around them? The Dreamer deal has been on the table and then off the table and then reworked to meet Trump's ideas then Trump rejected it then it's on the table and then off and now on... and infrastructure spending has been mentioned (but nothing done about it) for the whole year... etc, etc.

What is there to stand for? Trump certainly hasn't made a firm stance on those.

But the Republicans are broken too. It took Trump to beat Hillary. Consider that.

Typical response of someone with a superiority complex.

You're not nearly that consequential.
