I’m hoping he will say why he is not imposing sanctions on Russia 🇷🇺

Why would he impose sanctions on Russia?

Deadline for sanctions has now passed, President Trump did nothing

ICE should show up just before POTUS takes the stage and arrest all the illegals that the dems are bringing.

I predict that Trump will not discuss the memo.

Maybe he'll have some FBI staff people just hand out official copies on official stationary.

Kennedy doing the rebuttal will be interesting. As you say, let's see how much JFK is in him. Not much I'm betting. Probably more like Ed.

What I want to hear is more about infrastructure. Maintaining the positive growth we're seeing--my 401k is liking life right now--into the future.

Really, the memo and all the associated bs is way down on the list of things I want to see.

Time will tell.

Hopefully he will end the speech by announcing that the Nunez memo is now posted on house.gov.

If he does that no one will watch Maxine Waters or Joe Kennedy. In addition, the website will crash hard. And Twitter will light up like the 4th of July.

We need a live youtube feed for the Maxine Waters "response"

I hope

- Trump sticks to his speech, and avoids making up words on the fly
- that he avoids the topic of the memo and all its salacious details entirely, save for maybe a coy reference or two to acknowledge it
- That i can stay awake that late. Got up at 4am today due to no specific reason, and expect 8pm to be yawning time.

I think it'll be worth it to maybe have a coffee and stay up to watch it. I have never watched a SOTU in my life. Hard to believe it's his that I finally found compelling enough. But the relentless witch hunt has shown me that he is not the problem here. They outed themselves, by proving they don't give one shred of a damn about any of us, with every lie they thought we were stupid enough to swallow.

I'll be watching it. I'd love it if you'd join me.

That's what Fox has been saying about Kennedy all day, but I'm not buying into that just yet. Believe it or not (most others here won't), I do know Fox is biased right. I'll make up my own mind about Kennedy without their help. If he makes sense, I'm good with him; if he starts talking nonsense, well, just another Schumer wanna-be. That's not to say I want him to agree with everything Trump proposes, just don't try to twist words around so he has something to disagree with.

Infrastructure is huge... a shot in the arm to an already growing economy. Forget two cars in every garage, try two paychecks in every bank! If things keep opening up around here, I'll be able to overcome that shortage of engineering jobs for old guys.

I don't know about the memo yet... last I heard, they expect to have it released Thursday. I do know the FBI is the key to the swamp. Any serious drainage has to begin there. J. Edgar Hoover never really left, he just inhabited younger bodies, it seems.

I think you are dead on with that comment. Trump and company only let out the rope for everyone to hang themselves on, and a good job they did. lol

So let the games begin!

Ahhhhh. The great game. The biggest game in history. The game of playing with peoples lives. Trump has been called divisive by his opponents. Is he? I happen to think that he is. All divisive means is that you do not agree with all of another person, or groups, philosophy about how you should live your life. Like most other people I don't like being told how I should live my life, or better yet what my views should be, concerning everyday interactions with anyone.

Here is my plan for viewing this SOTU address. In his first year he has battled the media, Dem leadership, Repub leadership, the FBI, pornstars, haters, other country leaders, while accomplishing what I consider to be the greatest influx of wealth back into the U.S. economy in my life time. In his spare time he has dismantled the Democrat party to the extent that they cannot agree on one person to give a rebuttal to the SOTU.

Now some will claim that our economy is because of Trump, and that is true to an extent. It was him who pushed for jobs to come back to the U.S., but to be politically non-biased unemployment has been on the decline since 2010. At least we know Trump did not hurt our economy in his first year, but rather embraced and helped our economy become strong. As any President should.

I will listen to his words carefully and see if his outlook on America is a path worth following. He had my support last year. His message will determine if that support continues.

I hope he's more like John, then little brother Ed. There's hope for him then. I'd actually prefer he channel Robert, to be honest.

But, the proof will be in the pudding, as they say.

I'll admit, I'm looking forward to this SOTU more than many in the past... It promises some entertaining reactions.

CNN is humorous right now.

Talking about Nixon and comparing Trump to Nixon.

Then I guess Obama is still the savior, instead of being Nixon 2.0?

That would be separatist; perhaps independent.

"Divisive" under the common vernacular is meant to imply deliberate in motives to divide a society; to pit groups against each other.

I used to like to challenge definitions / the vernacular, back in the day quite a bit so, but after seeing what the SJW's have been doing to the English Language this Decade I'm weary about how I proceed with the practice now.

I'm looking forward to it, too. Heck, I'm giving up an hour of wrasslin' to see it live.

What's going to hurt Schumer is I saw someone on TV today who brought up a clip of Schumer last year slamming the President for doing nothing on infrastructure. Tonight, I suspect he'll be proven a liar again. And, if Trump tries to deliver what he promised on that issue, it's going to be interesting to watch the gymnastics involved in opposing it.

There's going to be some devils lurking in the immigration details, I'm sure. He may come out with some things on that issue I completely disagree with.

Ive never watched a SOTU before and I am going to stay up till the wee hours of the morning to watch it.

At worst it should be entertaining, at best enlightening and intriguing.

Usually they are just boring clichés that everyone is tired of, this should be far form it.
