I mean, sure...its funny.

But if you didn't notice, there are entire agencies on fire. For working to subvert his presidency. Imagine what he could have done with the full support of government, huh?

The SOTU is an opportunity to show the world unity and the willingness for working to achieve a common goal but no illegal aliens are more important. Obama did it and now the Democrats picked up the torch without realizing that people no longer fall for that BS. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Well, I'm not going to say that Obama single-handedly fixed the economy he inherited from the Shrub era.
Obviously one guy can't be solely responsible for it.
Even though he'll try, there is nothing about the economy Trump can take credit for.
The sad part is how many of his orange moonies will believe it.

Oh, I can imagine plenty:
- War, war, and more war.
- Environmental gang rape.
- Making rich people richer (oh wait, they did manage to do that again).
- Deregulate the big banks that caused the last recession so they can create another bubble.
- Deport anyone who isn't a card-carrying WASP...

And no, there aren't any agencies working to subvert his presidency.
His presidency will collapse becuase of him and his minions.

I've got the day off so I'll be watching it live too. I have lots of beer and meat for the occasion.

Here is my prediction:

The Democrats will insist that everything positive, such as the DOW, NASDAQ and international stock market rises/stability, job creation is resultant from all of Obamas hard work and policies 08-16 and Trump is riding that wave. They will then immediately contradict themselves (again) by stating that everything bad, such as acute racism, intolerance, human rights, womens rights, immigration reform are all Trumps fault, and have nothing to do with Obama hard work and policies 08-16.

The mental gymnastics will be both awe-inspiring and sad, all at the same time.

I am also looking forward to less Democrats being in attendance and also hope that Trump drops the memo or at the very least, triggers TV and twitter folks into convulsions of illogical hysteria [cue the autistic screeching].

2 hrs, 33mins to go.

I expect to find out just how serious this memo mess is tonight. If Trump spends much time on the memo or allegations into the FBI operations, there's not much there and he's still digging. If Trump avoids the subject completely, then he already has everything he needs in order to continue the drainage operations on the swamp.

That's what twitter is... it is Trump's way of flushing out the problems. He tweets, the swamp critters roar, he knows where they are, and he targets appropriately. It's happened over and over and over, and it amazes me that everyone still doesn't see what he is doing.

As for the bulk of the speech, I am expecting, like others, for him to tout his victories a little, and then to go into detail on his ideas on immigration and infrastructure. I also expect to see some surprising concessions on the two items, causing Kennedy to have to scramble to find much actually wrong to complain about. I'm actually interested in his response as much as I am Trump's speech... he's an unknown to me. I wonder how much of uncle John F. he has in him?

I expect Maxine Waters to make a total and complete fool of herself as usual. The woman has a God-given talent for it.

I also expect some veiled digs at Schumer... nothing specific, just references to the need for bipartisanship with examples designed to bring up images of Cryin' Chuck without mentioning his name... maybe a reference to the importance of keeping government open?

All in all, I expect a very interesting night.

Shouldn't Trump twitter the SOTU speech. He seems most adept at that form of communication.
