Why do kitty-cats have fur-balls, but doggies don't?

because you shaved your dogs balls?

I would be more concerned about a kitty cat and not a Tom cat having furry balls.

I think, it really depends on a breed of dog/cat, but this is a normal process for many of them.

"Furball" is actually a bit of a misnomer, since it looks more like a fur sausage on the carpet.

But I guess that is another unfortunate metaphor.

I will give you the same advice I give to all cat-owners.

Get a dog.
