Still doesn't give us any info that is useful.

The teacher is looking to get his 15 minutes, mission accomplished.

No, FOX & FRIENDS are looking to get THEIR viewership fired up from the statement of ONE person.

I see this trend more and more. Show the most extreme of the outliers on any position that would be considered so far right or so far left and let social media pass the joint and keep the arguments going when in reality, it might be just ONE person or a VERY small group.
Whatever news agency keeps running the story until the next outlier shows up...

In May 2012, he was put on paid administrative leave after the Sheriff’s Department received a complaint that he struck a student.

In July 2010, a parent complained that Salcido had threatened his daughter, made inappropriate comments to his summer school class about race and insulted other students and parents, which Salcido denied.

Glad to see this school district has such high standards that this scum still has a job.

Behind all the false patriot praise in the US the military is the lowest of the low. Nearly all the of military comes from the lowest parts of society. They are not bankers or elites. The military recruiters do prey on the lowest members of society.

B.S. ignorance and bias. The lower classes are UNDER represented. Observe:

The acceptance standards these days requires a high school diploma at a minimum. No dropouts are accepted. I'm not saying you need a 120 IQ to graduate, but its something.

They'll take you with a GED too. The recruiter just has to do a little extra paperwork.

No they won't to get in with a GED you need to have 1 yr college and score well on ASVAB. Ged will no longer get you in the military and no recruiter can change that. IF YOU WANT INTO THE MILITARY YOU BETTER COMPLETE HIGH SCHOOL.

Listening to this man it sounds like he is either high or has arrested development and functions like the children he teaches. He has no understanding of the depth involved in the military and the opportunity it provides people with no other options (be they financial or other issues) where they can learn a trade in the 9/10 support staff roles in the military. Does he think that every person over seas is out in the battle field or does he understand that many of the men/women are mechanics, medics, engineers, technicians, com's specialists, cooks, etc?

I'd love to see some West Point or VMI grads debate this guy or any other competition.

The entire time I listened to this guy I thought it sounded like a student speaking to the class, a very ignorant student at that. It was totally cringy the entire time! Makes me sick to think this guy has any authority over students let alone a municipality.

After hearing what he said and how he said it, I wouldn't hire him to clean dog $hit out of my lawn.

Sounds to me like a case of extreme jealousy borne of inadequacy. Maybe he had a girlfriend or two once who left him for a real man (or woman).

Either way, this poisonous rhetoric is the kind of thing that has no place in schools, unless its part of a philosophy course.

Gregory Salcido's view is more common in California than most people realize. Why the people of the United States don't help Californians achieve their dream of CAL-EXIT is beyond me.

I'd have to agree that his view is common among leftists.

They see nationalism as appealing to anyone with a low IQ.

And I stand by my free speech/opinion that people who think like this guy are complete dicks.

Salcido says, "they're not bankers, academics, or intellectuals"........think about that stupid statement for one second. (I'm laughing, too.)

I would venture to guess that this guy is a wannabe and didn't make it.......therefore, he teaches, and is probably not a very good one at that.

I can't even count the number of really smart young adults I know who have gone into the military. One young man I am thinking of at the moment was valedictorian of his class. His experience and further education in the military is ongoing and I am sure he will end up a much better and wiser man than this idiot Salcido.

Show me facts.
Show me something that is objective.
Not an opinion. Nothing from a slanted news source, right or left.

You're all being played like fiddles.
