I guess they will sacrifice HRC before Obama. Could be an interesting show if they turn in public on each other.

Probably because Obama is right in the middle of that

Middle of what? He isnt in power. He isnt causing Jeff Sessions to slow the release down at the DOJ. He isnt the GOP nominated head of the FBI asking the senate not to release classified info. He isnt a GOP member of congress who could read it out loud on the house floor. He isnt the President that could order the release in a moment. Where in this crazy GOP controlled government is Obama causing issues?

It appears he has caused his own issues

Ask him if he wants the Memo released.
Maybe he is about to go on vacation again, overseas.

President Trump is making a behind-the-scenes push to release a classified House Intelligence Committee memo – despite Justice Department warnings that doing so would be “extraordinarily reckless.”

Source: nypost.com...

Where is Peter Strzok when you need him? That "extraordinarily reckless", needs to be dumbed-down to "slightly careless".

How much of this is done for purely political purposes?

I think that at this point and time, it is a question that should be asked and looked at. All three of those names you mention are at the heart of a political issue in DC.

Comey was fired by Trump. It is something that the President can do, and presidents have done before. But there is some controversy behind the firing, including a few things that appear to be in the grey area of law and not things that the President should be doing.

McCabe is a person who can verify what Comey was stating. Now they are wanting him out and trying to push and are pushing hard, to the point where the new FBI director is having to put cards on the table to force those who are putting pressure on him to resign to back down.

And funny how they are going after Rosenstein, cause Mueller can only be terminated by Rosenstein.

So the question, on how much of this is really political and to protect the President, and how much of it is really due to misconduct on the part of those having the political pressure on them?

And if this really shows misconduct on the part of the Department of Justice and the FBI, why is not the Inspector General, those Democrats sitting on those committees, and the President, why are they not being shown this and coming up with a plan to clean up the misconduct and to proceed forward? Is not Jeff Sessions the Attorney General of the USA, head of the DOJ and thus the second person in charge of that department, after the President, would it not be wise to show him and get him started on cleaning up this mess?

Congress, and maybe Nunes may be overreaching in his zeal, cause the DOJ is under the executive branch of the government and not under the auspices of the legislative branch.

Are you under the influence of some sort of medication?

I'm not going to respond point by point, because your whole premise is, IMO, ridiculous.

Do you doubt that the trump campaign was ILLEGALLY spied on by the Obama administration? If so, you have blinders on.

I think he is trying to convince himself, not you. this will be a major hit to his Socialist Democrat party. They are toast and they are increasingly coming to the awareness of that

Release the source material not just the secret memo no one can see, otherwise it's a cherry-picked false narrative.

It is the DOJ that wont allow the source material to be released.

A bunch of Obama hold overs covering their butts.

You can call it cherry picked all you want, but it is the DOJ and FBI trying to cover their butts as to why the source material wont be released.

More corruption from the Obama administration!

Oh ya didn't you know its classified I covered that in an earlier post!

FBI says what?

Hmm. Maybe Congressman Gaetz is correct. He spoke with Lou Dobbs about it a couple of days ago.

He says he believes it will be released within the next two weeks or sooner. Start the video at 4:30.

Matthew Gaetz is an American attorney and politician who has been the U.S. Representative for Florida's 1st congressional district since 2017.

This guy is young and inexperienced in the grand scheme of government, but he is playing his part as the pawn in the game.
Trump comes out supporting release the memo, and Gaetz is very convinced that it will be released in the next couple of weeks a few days ago. I wonder what Trump's next move will be?

He doesn't need to see it to know that. The DOJ already said there were no FISA abuses.
Devin Nunes is the trump lap dog that got info from the Whitehouse in secret then ran back to the Whitehouse waving his "proof" for the media's benefit, which of course was nothing. trump tried to fire mueller. He will do what ever he needs to to keep Mueller off his back. Including approving the memo written by Nunes. Even though without the backup it's just Nunes ' opinion. The source will have to be unclassified. And lawmakers have said it could endanger our FBI agents and their operations if it is. It needs a review by a panel of senators and congressmen with security clearance from both sides along with lawyers with clearance to review and determine what occurred and it's meaning. A panel that is fair and equal that everybody will trust. Not trumps minions who have an agenda.

Sorry but i think the american people are still used to how Obama acted and Trump is nothing like him. POTUS and congress has to follow certain protocols to make the release totally legal. People would freak out and hold him accountable if he did anything wrong during this. It's nice to see the haters all pretending like there life depends on it but they can't fool me.

Are we talking about the same idiot who claimed on Twitter that Obama wiretapped him and that he would present the evidence but never did ?
Trump and the GOP would be all over this, but they aren't because the memo is pure bs.
Even if the memo held a bit of credibility no one would believe it other than brainwashed Trumpsters. You know why? Because Trump and his minions have spewed so many lies the past year. Hell if there was a recording of Hillary and the FBI planning to overthrow Trump people wouldn't care.
You could nominate a potato to run against Trump next time and the potato would win because people will be sick and tired of lies and all the glorification of Trump.
It took Obamas fanboys 7 years to make Obama unlikable, you guys did it with Trump in less than a year.

As for the President he doesnt need approval from ANYONE to release the memo or related info

I'm pretty sure the final say would be with congress. I could be wrong.

Trump’s directive was at odds with his own Justice Department, which had warned that releasing the classified memo written by congressional Republicans would be “extraordinarily reckless” without an official review. Nevertheless, White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly relayed the president’s view to Attorney General Jeff Sessions — although the decision to release the document ultimately lies with Congress.

Trump does not want this released. It will not prove what he wants it to. He knows this but he also knows if he makes a lot of noise about releasing it and gets everybody insinuating it's damaging when they vote not to release it he can say see the dems are hiding stuff and wont let this info out. It's all part of his showmanship. I'm willing to bet the memo never gets released. That way it maintains its mystique.

Smh.

Without releasing the source material (which gives context) the memo is simply a cherry-picked false narrative with a specific agenda (by increasingly desperate people), similar to a college student picking passages to argue an obscure point in a paper.

Without seeing context, that's all it is.

Well, according to yourself, we can't know if what you just wrote is true. You haven't seen it or the source material, so how can you say it's a cherry-picked false narrative? You can't.

I just did say that.

Release the source material not just the secret memo no one can see, otherwise it's a cherry-picked false narrative.

Period.

That an absolutely ridiculous stance and you know it. Also, because if they would do that you'd be against it also. Face it you're worried.
