I don’t mind having varying topics at ATS.

I figure if people want to dig and search and pine for the truth... that’s something we should get behind.

It’s the people who question nothing that scare me.

There used to be more focus here on mysteries and figuring things out and a lot less on having to go through the basics and arguing over things most of us figured out a long time ago.

Now it’s seems like we’re Conspiracy 101.

I don't think we're even at the level of conspiracy 101. The conspiracy theorists of old were willing to learn, find the truth and accept truths even if it conflicted with their beliefs.

Nowadays, people just seem to believe anything they are shoveled as long as it fits their confirmation bias.

You mean the guys who only work for TPTB and Deep State? Sorry, but all these scandals you see being reported on by the media are just pawns in the real game being played against us. The real PTB and "Deep State" are nowhere on the media's radar, though they have people believing otherwise.

Very, very true.

I miss those days.

But we can still have good threads and throw ideas at one another. When the swamp monsters post a reply just carry on like they’re not there.

I don’t feel like I have to defend everything I say to people who really are not up to speed, or are trolls, or who don’t have the IQ or background to comprehend what is being discussed.

Just wish them well in your mind and move on.

A very timely thank you to all who have sought the truth and brought it before the public when many did not want to hear it. I think I can claim to have seen our national meltdown coming but the way it has played out is certainly a surprise. It keeps life interesting for sure. Here's to hoping our efforts are not in vain and that justice will prevail and we shall have a government of the people, for the people and by the people once again.

I will halfway disagree with you.

I think we could be vindicated to a certain extent even if true justice doesn't actually end up done.

Vindication just means that some things that were previously thought to be crazy have the light shone on them with real evidence to back them up.

You're right that we face an unprecedented time in our nation's history, but truth and justice will prevail as it always has. Patriots and those on the right side of the truth should continue fighting for our rights and justice, and continue to earn the freedom/liberty our forefathers passed down to us.

It is our job as Americans to uphold that fine tradition, and to ensure these attacks do not shake our foundation.

Personally I doubt it is even possible to set the bar any lower than the MSM "journalists" and "reporters" have already done themselves. If you listened carefully, you could actually hear the bar hit the ground with a bang during this last election.

I learned about it all here, way back then. I remember.... the spiritual, the psychic, the doomsdayprepping, NWO, Illuminati, etc, etc, etc. Not only did I learn about everything here, I found links and hard to find sources that got me to where I am today. Good times, good times

I left yeas ago when it got messy. I was getting antsy about the New Madrid EQ fault recently, so I thought of ATS and came back yesterday. I am actually enjoying it cause it's been so long. When I logged back in, it said there have been 67,000 new topics since my last log in I have lot's to catch up on.

I completely disagree. ATS along with most conspiracy, paranormal, UFO or alternative forums have been utterly overrun by one thing. Politics and it's got more and more boring.

Amen to this. Partisanship is almost irresistible given the constructed climate, but it is most productive if we avoid this when possible.

I would say this is the truest definition of a domestic national security threat unfolding before our eyes daily.

I am particularly confused by these statements (I've seen a few others like it as well). The conspiracy/paranormal/alternative forums are all active, so couldn't one hypothetically not read the political topics and subscribe only to those you are interested in?

No offense intended, but there are some very legitimate and relevant issues being discussed presently. In my opinion, what is unfolding is prime subject matter for a site like ATS.

I agree that a lot of aspects of political debate and discussion (OK...arguing) is less than perfect, but that should not be the enemy of good. The issues are relevant and very important to our future as a nation. Don't let the bickering and logical fallacies fool you, we are making progress with a lot of people every day. They are questioning more and researching things on their own, which in itself is apolitical and simply an expression of seeking the truth.

I don't think anyone is kidding themselves that the only ones involved in this apparent conspiracy are Dems. There are plenty of RINOs and DC cronies that are just as involved. As many have pointed out, it was conservatives who first hired Fusion GPS to research dirt on the President (of course the Steele part didn't come til after Clinton's campaign hired them)
