I can predict the happenings in the future

Am I a modern day prophet for the Mormon church then. And only I can predict what will happen to mankind because I have been , OK, I'll leave here as such. But really, for all you parents, we know that we are prophets for our children. Right? I'd like to hear your comments on this.

I think that what I was getting at, sorry about my English sentence grammar, is that we are only prophets to our children only and that is given to us by our Creator, our Mother and Father. Not some religious gathering of "I'll appoint you as a prophet to Mankind" in the name of our Creator.

I took it as having the power to give your children blessings and destinies, kind of foretelling their future.
