The Democratic party is not conservative light. Republicans are suppose to be the conservative party, the Democrats are socialist, that has nothing to do with preserving the constitution.

Not sure where your information comes from.

The only thing that's truly important is preserving our freedom and putting the government in check.

That doesn't matter, especially when Hillary has millions of questionable votes and reports in multiple states of voting machines switching votes.

What you FEEL doesn't make it REAL.

This can be political gravy for Trump if he plays it right.

This could save his hide

Schumer has given Trump a political lifeline

All Trump has to do is first say, like Obama did: He won't negotiate until the dems stop the shut down.

Actually he has done that already.

Democrats could come up losers in government shutdown fight Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi canceled their meeting with President Trump after his negative tweet, bringing government shutdown closer. Protecting the 'Dreamers' is a popular in the polls, but that will change if the price is no deal on a budget or border security. It's no guarantee the voters won't blame the Democrats if the government shuts down.

www.cnbc.com...

This can be political suicide for democrats. Schumer is a agent of Israel and Pelosi is getting old.

The democrats, who are winning all the special elections big time, to do this is too risky.

The unions are all bought out by the corporations. I've worked for 3 union manufacturing plants in a 5 year period and in each situation the union was more of a problem than any it was solving.

All the union heads worked for the corporations and everyone was stabbing everyone else in the back to get ahead.

Being a little liberal and slowly changing society to a better society is good. But the Liberals are going crazy, they are trying to change things without looking at historical problems associated with the change. If everyone gets a fifteen dollar minimum wage, all it does is raise prices. A person who works hard and abuses his body in his job should get better pay than someone who sits behind a desk and spends half their shift socializing with others. I am thinking that college and education are to blame for this, it shifts the good pay and bennies to jobs where people do not actually work much. The money is going to those who are not destroying their body to provide a product or service.

Our whole society is going amuck, I believe that the pay scale is tipped the wrong way. I would rather see socialized medicine and free college for those who want it, but the person going to college should not make more than a construction worker or farmer does, people who put in long hours and tax their body or health should get paid more.

The messed up far left liberals today are just trying to push their way on others, many are educated and think they are worth more than the people working digging ditches or picking veggies by hand. The Farmers are living year to year, if it was not for insurance, most would be bankrupt already. That insurance isn't cheap, most small farmers need to have a job to make it from year to year. Then they work their fields after work and on weekends.

So you think you get to decide how much money certain people make?

Because that person went to college? And shouldn't make as much as someone who didn't?

Hmm. There's a term for this school of thinking.

Just because someone went to college for four years does not mean that they have more experience in a field than someone who spent that amount of time actually doing the job for an employer. My friend went to college for four years and got a job which qualified him to be a carpenter and estimator. I got my contractor license and learned to do way more than him in that four years. I got paid for my work, he paid to get his degree. He got his builders license too, he did not need to go college to get that.

His college diploma got him a job estimating things for a big contractor, after he quit there, he came and worked with me for a couple of years before going to work for a big company in Wisconsin, great job with good benefits. I could estimate a job better than he could, but I would have needed a degree to apply for the job if I wanted to get it. I could have gone to work for his company as a foreman making a hundred plus a year, but I had to stick around to help with my parents, something I do not regret at all. Money does not mean much to me, I have more important things in my life than getting rich. I gave quite a few guys jobs over the years with my business, I think I did all right even though I didn't get rich.

I am proud of my one daughter, she has her own business, she dropped out of college after six years without a degree at all. But she employs quite a few people, she has four or five projects going now and oversees about seventy people, a third of who are her direct employees at this moment. If she would have gotten her degree, she would have been in a humdrum job for some big corporation and I would never see her, I bring her homemade bread and soups at her office once in a while for her and her help. You do not need a college education. Your pay should be based on other factors, not just a degree.

The republicans are mental midgets

Not if you compare them to the Democrats. If you do that, then the Dems are the mental wasteland with total lack of logic. Hell the literally will cut off their needs and the need of others just for spite. No one else is doing that.. The smartest people are the ones who stay away from the Dems or who don't just go full bore R, IMO!

Bro you need to study the Bolshevik Revolution to understand this. The Dems are following Lenin's plans. The RINOs are helping them.

Very stupid!

You don't throw the whole country under the bus for one small group.

Especially when you penalize American citizens and soldiers for the benefit of non-American illegal immigrants.
