FAOIS (Fish and Other Itchy Stuff) . The man will turn down sales if he can tell a jackass moron has no regard or intention of doing the hobby right.

I'm the same way when selling horses, dogs or pigeons. If you don't intend on coming back to see them and work with them 2 weekends in a row? Doesn't matter how much money you got - too bad you're not buying from me.

And before you come back with another inane question?

Hardly inane. If you're in an area where folks keep chickens, is there no local source you can get these from?

Assuming you are getting some kind of special breed, I still have to wonder why you'd order them when it's so cold.

I'll agree that the onus is really upon the shipper to protect the shipment, but I hardly think it an inane question to ask as far as timing. (and I don't seem alone going from other posts on this).
