Well soon see how many Democrats in the Senate vote "Yes".

Given that not even 50 Republicans have indicated they would vote yes, maybe you cheerleaders should be introspective.

Poor guys. This thing called leadership is harder than they thought.

Yeah you would think having a majority in every single branch of government would preclude blaming the opposition for their failings.

Alas...

you mean like 8 years ago when the Democrats had a super majority but everything was republicans wont compromise and but bush...

This is the most absurd argument.

there needs to be 60 votes in the senate to pass, and republicans only have 51.

So according to you, if the 49 democrats decide to not show up to work the rest of the year, it still the republicans fault, because they have the majority?

Its so disingenuous and dumb.

The republicans are voting for this; they have put forth a bill of all things that democrats want.

If democrats chose not to vote fopr it, its not the republicans fault because they have the majority.

Stop lying.

You do not need 60 votes to pass all legislation.

That was simply how the Senate worked while Obama was president because of Republicans.

I say the Democrats do NOT want a DACA deal.

If a DACA deal passes Congress, that means most Republicans voted "Yes" to DACA and Trump would sign it into law.

Very bad for Democrats to have Republicans support anything.

Democrats are classic "Users" and manipulators at Citizen expense.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the Democrats non-working base don’t get their Government checks thanks to the liberals in Congress. If you take away their Government subsidized beer and cigarettes things will get nasty real fast for the Dems.

No because the main stream media is a branch of the democratic party, and they will convince people this is the republicans fault.

The dems are voting against a budget that they support everything in, because they want to add a non related ussue, and the main stream media will someone try to twist this to being trumps fault.

Fox is um kinda main stream media, you want to call that Democrat?

Hmm ok I should have said overwhelmingly they are a democrat mouth piece.

You know the stats that show over 90% of MSM coverage has been negative for trump.

Republicans threatened the same under obama, rinse repeat, new leaders same as the old leaders... etc.

This is tiring

They didn't just threaten.

Old history and Obama's old bitter jealousies won't influence the Senate Democrats today.

That was a rather brief period, since Republicans gained the House after a few years.

Republicans filibustered nearly everything in the Senate because Democrats didn't have a super majority.

Have Democrats filibustered everything?

They need 60 for this vote.

Again you k now thiss, but like your MSM friends, need to lie and deflect because there is no possible justification for dems voting against a budget that contains only things they want.

The Senate majority is not currently 60% like it was for a time in the 2009-2010 Congress.

Why didn't Democrats pass all this then when they had all the easy votes?

And they still wonder why they lose elections.

I don't care who's to blame, it's the circumstance that allows these stupid manoeuvres.
Two sides want something each...at least, so if there is stalemate, then you can work it out.
However, between the alleged big debate, it is quite clear that Trump doesn't give a shiite about any reasonable immigrant solution at all, while the Dems don't like the wall in equal measure...though they might allow a picket fence, however Trump has tweeted that the wall must be as he first said, ( presumably then, not his later versions) which is not possible without a grave emptying of the cash register, and now Kelly says that Trump is uninformed, (well , he said that before Trump's tweet) which only enforces pretty much what most people think anyway...so 0.5 votes to the Dems 0 to Trump.
There's no use me worrying about the plebs though, since their government doesn't give a toss.
America badly needs a centre left independent party to sort out the halfwits.

Wow, you must hate Fox then, given its viewers are make up 40% of the cable market.

McCain is absent for this vote.

And the vote for this is 3/5 to pass i.e. 60 votes needed to pass.

I wish Trump would just hold quick press conference and state this post.... he needs to get out in front of media before they try to set the narrative.
