can you not understand why there are no direct flights - from the UK to the ukraine [ and only 1 per day - via the netherlands ] - but MULTIPLE flighits per day - from multiple airports in the UK to multiple airports in the USA - every single day ????

I agree, it is monetary or geographical on nature. I assure you that the Earth being flat is not geographical.

If it's financial reasons, then computers decide what plane flies where and the emotions aren't so much a concern of theirs. If it's geographical reasons as to why, same story... those metal birds are flying for dollars and not for smiles.

It could just very well be something as simple like the number layovers going to the final destination is cheaper to send a body over 6 flights then it is to apply a devoted route.

Here in the states, I have flew half way across the country only to go 1/4 the total distance. Airlines just aren't going to let a smile dictate the simplification of destination arrivals.

And I have been at Bremmer Bay, WA and seen planes flying east of the continent, directly from Eastern Australia to,South Africa, it's a fact

But sorry, it's round, and planes make that track, often.
There is a huge SouthnAfrican population in Australia, it's very common flight
