"Schaaf’s remarks came on a day when rumors were swirling that ICE planned to launch a series of Bay Area raids — arresting as many as 1,500 illegal aliens...."

They should start at every Home Depot or Lowe's parking lot...

They should start at the state capitol...Start with the moonbeam and then go after the mayor and sherriff of every city...

They are going to wait until Moonbeam is out of Office before they make a big deal at the political level.
You'd be surprised how many Sheriffs in Cali are not pleased about all of this.

If California can say that they only have to follow the laws they create, then a state can make it a law that they can throw any Hispanic or immigrant into jail or escort them out of their state. California has to follow the laws that govern this country or get the hell out and not get any benefits from this country for anything...including disasters. They will have to pay taxes on exports to this country if they leave, they can do whatever they want. If they want protection from Russia or NK, they will have to pay for it. We will also create boarders that require them to immigrate or visit the rest of the USA, just as any European has to get a passport. Also, anyone going to visit their relatives in California must get a passport, no person who has a felony should be allowed to gain a passport going either way.

Lets do it right, kick them out and tax any business trade with them. Texas and Washington can import our stuff from overseas, they should have preference because they will be Americans. People in California think they have us over a barrel and can get illegal immigrants to work like slaves for less wages, that is not a good thing, they only want illegals because it benefits them. Talk about a bunch of people out of touch with reality in California. I bet that even Hollywood will move out of their state because of this.

The state should split up so those who want to be Americans instead of ruling America can still be part of the USA.

I do not like people who are entitled and believe they have more rights than the rest of society.

Sadly, I think this will cause some businesses to leave California.

California, higher taxes and a state that will arrest you if you cooperate with Federal authorities on a matter of immigration

Think about it

I live near the Texas border. There are many "aliens."
You won't catch me ratting on any of them that are honest hard working people trying to survive and support their families.
Most I know are as good as any folks you will meet.
The real criminals, as I see it, are employers who exploit their cheap labor.
How can you be an "alien" if you're from this planet?
If an illegal breaks our laws, Punish them according to our laws and then deport them.

I think this is related:

The Revolt Begins? Apple, Google Charter Buses Attacked In San Francisco

The last week has seen six charter buses, ferrying Google and Apple employees from Silicon Valley to San Francisco, have been attacked on the freeway, smashing windows with rocks and BB guns.

Notably, there are no signifiers on the vehicles for the average passerby to really know for what and who they are used, but CHP Officer Art Montiel, who is investigating the matter with other law enforcement officials, says “it appears that they’re going after the unmarked tech buses,” according to SFGate.

Unless someone has murdered or raped someone, or stolen something from someone, i won't rat anyone out for anything.

Among other legal theories, it could be argued that threatening state prosecution of those who voluntarily cooperate with federal law enforcement in an area where they have jurisdiction is obstruction of justice at the federal level. Obstruction of justice charges often involve attempts to keep others from voluntarily cooperating with law enforcement, not just in cases where there's a warrant. And because this could be obstruction of justice, Becerra could be reported to the State Bar of California. There is a form on California's State Bar website to report him. Although he has a duty to the state of California as AG, he also has rules of professional conduct and ethics he has to follow as an attorney and is almost certainly admitted to practice in federal courts.

I used to work for a roofing company and supervised a crew of illegals. They were some of the nicest guys I've ever worked with.
When asked by another roofing company why we didn't hire union or legal citizens to do the job, I had a simple answer.
"If they worked as hard and fast as this crew... I'd be happy to."

I was a manager at a car-wash/detail/oil change/slash body-repair shop.
My best crew was by far the wetback crew.
They did their job far and beyond what was expected.
They were rewarded financially in a very fair manner.
I miss that bunch and hope they are doing well.

So once again it's the Evil Corporations fault and not the person who KNOWINGLY KNOWS THEY AINT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE?

yes it is the evil corps fault . As the illegal's would not come here if they could not get a job under the table .
and it is your fault as again the illegals would not come here to get jobs if you payed a fair price on produce so legal people could get payed fair prices to pick it .

the funny thing is to many feal the very people who pick the food they eat should not be paid enough to eat that same food .
You want illegals going STOP corps from hiring them or is to simple and building a 10 billion dollar wall better > A wall that will keep you in just as well or better then keeping them out .

History has showed walls only end up keeping people in by the time a wall is built NO ONE wants to go there .

CALIFORNIA feels that even more population diversity is needed. So the state is releasing 10,000 Sex Perverts and Predators onto the streets to mingle with citizens.
