Hey guys this is my first UFO thread so be gentle on me, found this today

WATCH BEFORE IT'S REMOVED' Oblong 'UFOs' caught in high def on NASA cam spark frenzy

In the YouTube clip, the camera follows the objects as they shoot along together, before zooming in on to one of them for a close up view.

Jeffrey Boyd Jr, who posted the video, entitled the startling clip "NASA sat two UFOs! Close ups, Wtf is this?"

www.express.co.uk...

The article comes from the Express but I could not find the video on youtube but a search for the title revealed this vid:

So they must have taken it down.

Ever seen 2001 a space Odyssey?

Those oblongs look kinda familiar!

Just adding...are they possibly satellites?

a reply to: SkeptiSchism Well, in the article there was this explanation.

"This video shared on #YouTube is easily explained: those objects are twins satellites from #NASA GRACE mission (Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment)."

Probably need to get the specs on the sats to confirm.

Good post mate.

How we know this is CGI?

If you freeze the action at :14 seconds the objects appear as if from nowhere. How did those zooming the camera know where to look if they weren't even there?

Because a camera out in space can't zoom in, pass by and come up from behind something flying down below. Way below.
That would be some kind of camera...JMO.

Obviously looks like Grace twin satellites, however...

GRACE measures changes in mass through their effects on twin satellites orbiting one behind the other about 220 kilometers apart

True, I read that too and also the previous thread on this subject after Seattlerat posted.

In the other thread the discussion lead to CGI on the premise that it would be near impossible to pick up and get the resolution' The source of the video was questioned as well.

If CGI, its not bad.

Kind regards,

bally

I saw much the same, mini-sats.

"I'm sorry Dave. I can't do that."

Love that movie. But it does kind of resemble the monolith.

*Note to self* If I ever become a satellite designer (wishful thinking), don't ever make them monolith shaped, so as not to cause UFO flap!

That first Grace mission was very interesting in many ways, constructed in Germany, it lasted fifteen years instead of five being active all the time measuring gravity anomalies to determine the variations in mass around the Earth, and Earth's oceans and more with extensive parameters in the sensitvity of the equipment by allowing for not just Earthquakes, but also Isostatic glacial rebound, or more correctly, Glacial isostatic adjustment to make more accurate mapping than anything that came before.
One of the sats is due to re-enter the atmosphere anytime if not already.
I'm not quite sure though about how the video was taken, or rather from what vantage point, as it does appear to be a point in space showing much of the earth's hemisphere, but more likely if it is from the ISS with the only real horizon at the top and a wide-angle lens used, and perhaps nearer the end of the mission. You could make comparisons though, I don't have the time just now.

The article comes from the Express but I could not find the video on youtube but a search for the title revealed this vid:

In the article you can read:

Scott Brando is a UFO debunker who runs website ufoofinterest.org. He recognised the objects as two satellites from the NASA GRACE mission (Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment), which were sent into orbitto monitor climate change. He also found the original NASA video that the clip was recorded from confirming what they were. With the hashtags hoax and fake news, Mr Brando tweeted: "This video shared on #YouTube is easily explained: those objects are twins satellites from #NASA GRACE mission (Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment)."

So they shared my tweet with my debunk.
Here's one of the sources of the video.
