It's time for NRA to start really pushing for MORE gun rights, rather than caving in at any occasion when crazy lefties or EU-CNN puts pressure on the Trump administration through some orchestrated #show.

Alexander Torshin ... hmm

In 2016, a Spanish investigation connected Torshin with the Tambovskaya Gang.

Torshin was allegedly involved in money laundering for the group.

Spanish police had planned to arrest him in 2013 when he arrived in Mallorca for a friend's birthday party, but he did not arrive.

Spanish police speculated he might have been tipped off by Russian authorities.

In December 2017, The New York Times reported that a May 2016 email to Rick Dearborn, Donald Trump's 2016 campaign adviser, bore the subject line “Kremlin Connection.”

In it, Paul Erickson, an National Rifle Association (NRA) member said he wanted the advice of Dearborn and Jeff Sessions, then a foreign policy adviser to Trump and Dearborn’s longtime boss, about how to proceed in connecting Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The meetings involved Alexander Torshin.

In January 2018, McClatchyDC reported that Robert Mueller's Special Counsel investigation is pursuing allegations that Torshin has links to Russian organized crime, and laundered money from the Russian government to the NRA to benefit Trump's campaign.

Apparently the NRA got a bit more proactive in recent times, which is good ! They'll have to keep it up ... don't be complacent ... as someone said in recent days.
