It could be funny as long as it's light hearted. Like a roasting of the press.

My thoughts exactly.

So did they get cancelled? Was there an announcement or anything? If so, I wonder if Q is going to post something tonight?

I did think it was funny, how upset representatives were about this. They were on the news tonight bashing Trump about it.

This is hilarious, sorry. Even if someone doesn't like or support him.

....watching now !
That live chat is so annoying.

Seriously though, every time I see one of those live chats they move too fast and are annoying.

I kind of think it's not going to happen. I think someone must have told him how childish it sounded.

It could be late evening, after official duties have been completed. The physician said yesterday that Donald Trump only sleeps 4 to 5 hours every night.

Or, we could get a Tweet that says, "Stay tuned. This will be worth waiting for!"

It would be interesting if the 'Awards' were actually arrest warrants ...

Perhaps arrested for colluding with a foreign entity?

Just thinking out loud.

President Trump's Fake News Awards, originally slated for Jan. 8, then rescheduled for today, may or may not actually be happening—yesterday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, when pressed, had no details about what she called the "potential event"—but John McCain and Samantha Bee are both braced for them.

After that I'm not holding my breath there will be anything.

It's been fun mocking them anyways.

It is a blow to his credibility, IMO.

Although, its likely a net win for his credibility if he doesn't go through with it.

Yeah, while I do think the "MSM" has shown bias and hysteria with Russia and Trump, and maybe racism, I don't think this builds his credibility or status of being "presidential." It's not wise.

No it's not Twitter that crashed... Trump posted a thing on his Twitter about the awards and linked to a website that crashed immediately.

This is interesting, I wonder if the site crashing wasn't intentional.

Hmm....it wouldn't be out of character I suppose.

Just thinking out loud here myself, but what is the word for a leader who arrests/imprisons free press that is critical of him...hmm...

I'm watching this live feed and Trump posted something, I believe on Twitter, to the extent of "The Fake News Winners are..." and the entire site crashed due to server overload.

Ah, makes sense. I'm following on the OP's live feed, so I wasn't clear that it was a link.

This actually worked out far better than it could have. It's essentially a point by point refutation of individual major fake news items directed against POTUS through 2017. This is certainly one way to ensure these lies are exposed as lies to as many people as possible.
