Wow ! This is a big shocker !

Wondering if it will really happen with all the tension lately.

Athletes from North Korea and South Korea will march under a unified flag at the opening ceremonies of next month’s 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, the South said Wednesday. The agreement to team up comes after the first major diplomatic talks between the two nations began earlier this month. In addition to marching under the “unified Korea” flag, the two countries will come together to form a women’s hockey team comprised of players from both nations. Ski teams from both countries will also train together at a resort in North Korea. The agreement between Seoul and Pyongyang is a major step for the two countries, which have been locked in an increasingly tense standoff as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un continues nuclear and missile tests. It’s also a win for South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in, who was elected under a promise to pursue diplomatic solutions to his country’s problems with its northern neighbor. Last June, he first suggested a unified team of North and South Koreans for the upcoming Games.

This is what is possible when Russia and the US get their noses out of other countries.

Re-unification of Korea is possible, but sadly, the US stands in the way of peace ... as it often does.

Hopefully, the people of Korea can overcome the problem and unite as one people.

Apparently it's happened before, the last time being 2006.
So it is a slightly more peaceful sign, but not a complete novelty.

Hopefully a step in the right direction and not something to buy North Korea some time.

And when one of those combined teams loses due to an error by the south Koreans watch lil kimmie throw a hissy and use it as proof north Koreans are genetically superior..

Also if I was a south Korean athlete I would be terrified at the thought of training in north Korea.

Plenty of opportunities for foul play. ..

It looks good on the surface but this decision can backfire..

It could backfire. We shall see.

Lol, maybe a real life "Homefront" will be as short as the game! That'd be nice.
