The wolf hated and despised is paradoxically, I find, the epitome of human aspiration.
They maintain a tight healthy family structure, they are self reliant, they are adventuress, they are courage's, strong, agile, intelligent.
When we out of pure malice exterminate a whole species, I find it signifies our own hidden envy of that which has accomplished what we failed to do.
