A GOOD song is a GOOD song.
You can speed it up, slow it down.
Change styles.... IF it's a good song it Will survive!!!

Please, PLEASE... Listen to this!
THIS is a Good song... (at the wrong speed, but still a Great song!!!!)

Now THAT is what I'm talking about Joe!!!
REAL.
EMOTION.
POWER.

100 times better. IMHO.

Damn.... !

No one can deny that Amy Lee of Evanescence has real emotion and power. Well, you can, but I won't believe you.

Bro you aren't just out there doing it..

Your Living the Dream!

And I am sure your knowledge of music dwarfs mine.

heck I can't even read sheet music, I only know lyrics, and even then I am mediocre at best..

I'd be happy, honestly, if I had half your talent.
I can't even play the recorder..
My third grade music teacher told me to just pretend I was playing at recital..lol..

That is a good song Gordie and always will be.

I love Janis Joplin , and I so agree with those of you who say that much music today sounds artificial and over produced.

This artist is one of those voices that makes you believe what she is singing. A fav of mine.

Hugs to all Sheddites! Been busy last few days with chores I’ve been putting off. My apologies for not popping in to say hi..

Hi Sheye, Yeah, I can't argue with Joss Stone. I LOVED her early stuff... lost track of her a wee bit... I'm guessing that she lost her way a wee bit? But HELL YEAH she can sing!

So .. I’m trying to downsize the amount of stuff I have.. and I realize I have too much emotional attachment to “ things”. It’s making it extremely difficult to make decisions on parting with it.

I don’t need so much of it and I really need to let it go. Going to lay it all out in the living room and get family and friends to pick through it, then the rest gets shipped off to goodwill.

Anybody else have a problem with letting go of stuff , especially when good memories are attached to them. Clothes don’t matter but crafts that I indulged in are harder.

I have so many matts and frames for picture framing .. all sorts of stuff.

I guess I just have to plug away at it bit by bit, and hopefully people will take it off my hands!

I have too much stuff too. I'm down to the really good stuff or things with emotional attachment now. Very difficult. Time to make up bags for friends and family with things I know they will love and the rest I'll donate. Tough decisions ahead. lol

Nightstar,
That sounds delicious!
We used up the last of the potatoes
I grew last summer and made potato pancakes
With sour cream on the side.

Just watching wheel of fortune, the reboot of the Roseanne
Shows premier is coming on at 8pm, I'm just looking forward
To that.

Sheye,
I'm. Not a hoarder but I do have a hard time letting things go,
Mostly nostalgia. I have an extensive comic book collection ,
Around 3,000 books ranging from the 50's to the early nineties.

My grandparents you to sell socks and towels(New ,lol, not used)
And I used to help them set up and take down there stand.
Then I would spend the rest of the day scouring the markets for
Used comics..

Those I would never sell.. if I die they will go to my nephews..

I collect wooden boxes as well. Puzzle boxes and ornate it matters not..

And chess sets, all gifts, maybe 15 of those..

That stuff is understandably sacred..

What I can't explain is my need to hold on to clothes that would never possibly fit me again..
That would be rejected by good will.. I'm talking thirty year old t-shirts and sweatshirts that ,
Are stained and have holes..lol useless..

Last month I got rid of a garbage bag full of nothing but old shoes with holes..

But seriously I'm not a hoarder..

/walks off muttering to himself

"Its my stuff what do you care, it makes me happy, I'm not a hoarder!
I'm not a hoarder..
I'm not a. hoarder..I'm not a hoarder.. I'm not a hoarder.
talkin' bout hoarding...I'll show you hoarding..least I ain't got no moldy pee jugs..hoarder ! hrumph"I'm not a hoarder if you don't like it don't look at it..

😂... Your not a hoarder.. I repeat .. NOT a hoarder. Lol

My ex had a suitcase of old concert T’s . Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Dylan .. and many more. Our daughter quickly scooped those up in highschool.

I can understand why you want to keep the Chess sets and boxes... but yeah the shoes with holes have to go 😂.

Looking forward to the Rosanne reboot myself ! Just about time . Talk to you all later.

Yes, yes and yes. I have problems letting go of "things" especially as you mentioned the craft stuff. I paint, draw, knit, sow and carve. So I have all this stuff that in my mind will turn into beautiful things "when I have time".
There are clothes, winter/summer. Do I need that much? No, this year I will pledge myself to eradicate every thing I haven't used the past year. I think.
There is stuff I save because it reminds me of something that happened thirty years ago, but no one is going to see it.

I applaud you. You just inspired me to do a clutter revamp. Thank you.

As a I watch I see it's highly politically charged..

I don't think the shed is the place for politics, so I don't want to discuss the show here.

The shed is a place where we put politics aside and respect each other's faiths, right?

Hopefully someone will make a separate thread..

No need to thank me WIS.. but I am happy to be of any inspiration.

I would love to see some of your artwork WIS... finished or not.

I missed you 😕... thank you for your witty, thought provoking posts. Sometimes I misunderstand your irony and wit, but I am trying to do better.

I asked to see Wister's paintings quite some time ago. I'm still waiting. lol

Though I feel better than I did yesterday, I'm still sick and just watching movies. Sorry I'm not feeling chatty my Lovelies. I came sprinkling stars for everyone. I kind of feel like a faery when I say that. lol
