OP I'm a female, grown woman over 50, and I agree with you !!! If I dress in a pair of jeans, nice blouse covering everything mind you, I hear "Damn, you look good." On the other hand, if I wear a long skirt, no make-up and cover completely long hair
I generally look as a Pentecostal woman the majority of the time anyway - I hear " Hello sister, how are you? "

Reminds me of Dave Chapelle

Their is truth to what you're saying. I was always after my daughter not to wear provocative clothing. Sure it attracts the attention of men, but all for the wrong reason. I always told my daughter, it only takes one mentally deranged pervert to act out on their sexually twisted evil thoughts.

I know in my day, the friends I hung around with had more respect for women who didn't flaunt their assets. Women who used to walk into bars flaunting their assets were considered "easy" and not someone you would want to engage in a serious relationship.

With all the poor role models on TV like the Kardashians flaunting their breasts, and celebrities who walk out on the red carpet half naked, young girls see that and think that's how they need to dress to meet a guy. The type of guy that will respect them for who they are, is another story altogether.

Exactly, pretty damn sickening.
Then there's the forgotten victims, the young males in all that, even in the Westernize countries.

Even sicker it's accepted(such as with women teachers now being the sexual aggressors) because the common argument I have seen is, "At least it's not my daughter, my son won't become pregnant from the female teacher who raped her." "My son can handle it, havn't all of us males dreamed of "popping" the teacher?"

I think you're right on that, there's no one answer in this context, damned if you do, damned if you don't for many however.

These days it's Instagram, more so than just Hollywood and pop stars. Sex sells and it always will no matter the shift in culture which we are seeing now with scantly clad as the norm. Heck, it runs the internet

Instagram top earners, including the Kardashians, is beauty-makeup, hair, etc., and then there's travel-all with sexy poses in those compositions.

I think the only one who really came close to class was Peltz at the Transformers premier. Of course, being at the Transformers premier sort of ended that ...

Again, I'm not pointing the finger at any one gender as both genders need to play their parts, but this message is aimed at the females,

seeing females in bikini's everywhere and purposely accentuating their sexual parts is a massive sensory overload

Now females, you are not making it any easier for us by wearing such provocative clothing!

Lemme guess, they should wear burkas? LOL Dude, how about teaching males to overlook a woman's appearance? Why does it always come down to males telling women how to dress?

I literally taught my soon-to-be 9yr old nephew that it's ok to respectfully glance for a second but not to stare; to treat females with respect; that it's never good to beef with females; and to act like he has class when dealing with females. He gets it and he's still an elementary school student! To be fair, he's also realized the equally important point that if females feel safe and comfortable around a guy, they'll be far more willing to befriend him (which makes it a win-win situation to him, but it's got me a little worried that he'll become a playboy down the road).

Either way, men need to start with ourselves. While yes, I agree that women need to understand that they have an incredible power of most guys, I simply think it's up to the guys to restrain ourselves. If I walk around with a shirt that other people like, is it my fault if someone tries to steal it? If you have a car that other people like, is it your fault if someone else wants to break into it? If you have a watch that I think is stylish, is it your fault if I can't stop staring at it? No! The blame for any wrongdoing is on the individual who can't control their own impulses.

Well, being gay I think men should cover-up more then.

Although been with my naked bros maybe four times a week.

The one thing I can't say is that nudity is the same as sexuality.

Two different things.

Two things I saw come to mind

'' If you want to dress like a whore, prepare to be treated like a whore ''

and

'' the female body is like a beautiful Christmas gift. The reason its so beautiful is because you have to unwrap it to see its beauty ''

When I walk the streets and see girls wearing so little clothing I wonder how trustworthy they really are.. they're obviously out there looking for mens attention

What a sad comment on the damage of sexual repression and religion here in the USA. For as progressive as we are as a nation we have some serious issues with sexuality.

Get over it.
Don't be a creep.
Treat people with respect, no matter what they are wearing.
It's on you to behave.

Women are pretty well done with men telling them what they can and can't do.

I just recently left the artic east coast where its winter, and everybody naturally wears layers of clothing, to the tropics, and seeing females in bikini's everywhere and purposely accentuating their sexual parts is a massive sensory overload.

Out of curiosity, as to see it might help the discussion along, where do you live normally OP?
Was this your first time to a warmer weather place? Where were you visiting?
You seriously can't expect people living in the tropics to dress as people do in the north? Especially at the beach, which of course is more revealing. How were the men dressed?

Well a big issue on social media.
Especially women's breasts.
I can't connect to anything, but in African culture, women's breasts are not sexual.

Yeah, here they already said, they gonna take on Facebook!

They're tired of being banned for their culture.
They are literally going to storm the head-office in SA.

And we've seen the Zulu men, trust me the women are no less vicious.

ATS, generally they distinguish between porn and material of anthropological value.

Facebook doesn't at all.

About two years ago I posted a Nova doccie on the Tasaday people.
Basically this week they say it was removed.
Flip - some tits, nothing sexual, a rain-forest tribe!
Two years ago!
Not my fault they dress like that.

No, you must be punished for it now.

Trust me, this is still going to be a MAJOR ISSUE.

The African tribes are not impressed.

They send their daughters to virginity school, and very proud of their breasts and bead-work.
See TV Yabantu on Youtube, for example.

Now they want to celebrate that, and end up getting banned.
No, they're not happy with Mr. Zuckerberg.
They wanna kick his ass. (To put it mildly).

Wonderful post. It has everything to do with culture and nothing to do with morality .
I salute you.

Boy, I sure am glad I didn't start this thread, buying all the women new clothes would bankrupt me.

I actually like a woman who is in a coat with a fir lined hood on it. The covering up actually makes me focus on her facial features more and helps me to concentrate on regular conversations better. When a woman is in a skimpy swim suit, I can'tt easily keep my mind together to talk to her about anything practical, I would just try to impress her.

I think maybe society would be better off if people covered up more in public.

One can speak about culture and identity.

But social media norms are encouraging cultural extinction.

I think a lot of women are going to far on purpose

I’ve had many women wearing low cut shirts and no bras bend over in front of me and talk. I’ve had other close encounters that are far too crude to speak about

I’m not sure why women would want to flaunt themselves to others because all they are going to find is perverts using them for their bodies instead of people genuinely interested in them

Lol Cheers! This post is over the top. I love men so much. But seriously this stupid # needs to cease. If I wanted to do a three day excursion of backflips with my black ass naked in the sun light ill do what I want. # your opinion. I have zero #s to administer. And no women are not asking for it by the way the are dressed. I was first raped at 6 years old. So please cut the bull# . And not all men lack control or sense of decency and humanity. My partner is truly dope. So no, all dudes aren't rapist zombies that sees boobs and oops sodomy. So # that noise. Take ownership of yourself. Try to own me, I will end you.

A man using religion to blame women, sounds very Radical to me...There's some boys in Saudi you should meet....

I won't lie, its nice to see a lovely lady but that does not mean I have any right of control over her, do I think that sometimes there's too much on show, sometimes but only because I worry about men who think they have a right of control might try and exercise what they think are a right to affect these women.

For me its a terrible terrible shame when a woman can't feel safe walking down the road, worse still that there's a growing number of brainwashed men looking to control women.

Married 36yrs, my wife is my partner and my best friend....Life does not get better than that..
