This section of Q's post (from yesterday) seems to deal with Gowdy:

TG departure [HEC].

NOT to testify.

NOT needed to testify.

Think logically.

NO NEED to step down if needed to TESTIFY.

DO NOT chase MISINFO.

What ROLE might TG be walking into?

I guess we'll have to see if Gowdy gets a new position sometime soon.

Thanks to you and jaded for pointing this out.

I dont know about the whole Q thing.

But if this was posted by Q yesterday, it at least proves that they have some inside knowledge of whats going in these matters.

The news broke the day before (on the 13th)... it was old hat by the 14th. He actually delivered the letter on the 10th (at least, that's when it's dated)

CNN

Rep. Trey Gowdy stepped down from the House Ethics Committee this week after five years of serving on the panel.

The South Carolina Republican tendered his resignation in a letter to House Speaker Paul Ryan on Wednesday, the details of which were published in the Congressional Record on Thursday and reported by news outlets later in the week.

He says he has too much of a workload.
Is there something that is going to take even more of his time coming up?

Well that was unexpected. Wonder what they have on him....or what he has planned. He doesn't seem like someone that would just suddenly do this.

Or , what he has found out...
The overwhelming evil he has uncovered ?
Too much for one person ?

Totally agree. Shoot- please, not another one let us down.

ETA: I should have read the thread before posting. Looks like he's just stepping down because of other responsibilities and he's kniwn since June that he would step down. So he hasn't let us down- so far.
edit on 15-1-2018 by KansasGirl because: (no reason given)

Depends on the exact timing as he stepped down 2 days ago.

And he has chaired the appropriations committee since Chavets left earlier this year. There is something else up with this.

Could there be something within the appropriations committee that Gowdy could be asked to investigate within that committee. Exactly what could have been misappropriated? Could it have something that went to U1 unknowing to some.

Other possibilities?
