I respectfully say that this comment is beneath the dignity of someone with the fine writing skill I know you to have. Please do not take this as unfriendly as it is not meant in that way.

It is, incidentally, the foundations of all discrimination and racism we see in society. An inability to think rationally, because the content is lacking there in the brain.

Yeah, these are the true rational thinkers.

I haven't read the thread so I don't know if this question has been asked. In the disclaimer it is acknowledged that the numbered content in the OP could be applied to supporters of other political parties and candidates. So why then title the thread specifically to Trump supporters. Titling the thread as it is suggests that objectivity in the disclaimer is bogus.

Because while you could apply it to both sides, it really only applies to one side, so we're gonna apply it to that side. The disclaimer is just for window-dressing.

And if you don't like that, see point #4.

Now I have read point 4 I understand your meaning and realise which side of the conversation you are advocating.

Oh yea thanks for reminding us we’re stupider than you so we can’t do debat.

You notice, how we all identify ourselves?

We immediately recognize in the words of others, who we are, and respond accordingly.

You’re gonna have to dumb that down a little for me. Remember, I voted for Trump this election.

Because it’s specific to Trump supporters.

While this could be applied to most political groups, I have personally experienced this behaviour mostly from trump supporters.

I was just wanting to acknowledge that I recognise that this behaviour is not exclusive to trump supporters.

Shamrock Six cleared the point up, but thanks anyway.

If you think I'm advocating for a side, then I don't think you understand my meaning.

The OP has presented valid points. Where the OP fails is when it comes to attempting to assign them to one side despite the appearance of paying lip service to the idea that it's both sides that exhibit the same behaviors. And then proceeding to ignore their own lip service even as they fully engage in the same behaviors they just assigned to "the other side."

There is no "side" involved in pointing that out.

These behaviours make actually having a proper debate on the issues at hand difficult.

Ummm...it is ludicrous...

A small and simple observation I made as I was reading this response of yours...

Your entire observation is couched within the OP's screen name...I guess we all just weren't paying enough attention...

It's always...TheOtherSideOfTheCoin...

Telling little psychoanalysis that...don't you think...?

One has to wonder how you manage to run your very successful company being a CEO, when I see you in literally every thread about Trump on ATS all the time

I'm always astonished at how some members find my life so fascinating to stalk me on the boards.

If it's any of your business. In my office ATS is always on the laptop, but fyi, I sold all but one my LLCs to my employees
and now livin the dream as a writer/consultant/producer/director/talent for media companies.

ATS is my very favorite source for subject matter and ideas. It would be sweet if you could contribute something worthwhile!!

At a guess, I'd say the anti-Trump types....finally...know Trump isn't going anywhere. Too many precedents set to do so and the Dems fear retaliation in kind down the road. The Republicans...the spineless ones fear retribution from the Trump base..US.

That leaves the intent of the thread, perhaps, explained. The Trump supporters. Wear them down. Point out their flaws while ignoring- well lip-service commenting that it occurs across the boards, then writing a tome on the Trump version. No further comment on any comparison.

Here's an example. So which is more worthy of comment or closer look? Calling a nation a s**th**e, as Trump has done or supporting depopulation as Oprah has done? No she's not running as of yet and Trump is President, yet not one whiff of comment from the Democrat machine or posters denigrating that stance.

Both curious and funny...yes?

With coffee in hand I get a few good LoL's.

Many WTF did I just read moments that leave me SMH.

But mostly a lot of Meh's.

Thanks for amusing me.

Kinda hard to discuss attributing behaviors to one side or the other without mentioning one side and the other side. I also use the phrase "the flip side of that coin" now and then, too.

What's more interesting is that before I posted that comment, I caught the same thing you did, debated changing the phraseology, then decided to leave it as is.

For the record sport...
I'm not a Trump supporter.
I'm a classical liberal.
I have my issues with Trump...
Not his supporters.

Because unlike you all I'm able to relate to the hardships of others and understand why someone would vote for and support Trump. When you continually attack them it makes their resolve stronger. Thus distracting everyone from the real problems with Trump. Making many of you useful idiots.

I'm tired of the ignorance and hypocrisy from you all on the left far more than the right. Sadly your ideology prevents you from seeing things outside your tiny box

How I know this?
The title of this thread shows a serious lack of understanding and empathy towards others. Not to mention the garbage contained within it...

Getting so sick of threads like this...
From both sides.

a reply to: OtherSideOfTheCoinGenerally people on these boards, or the liberal establishment articles they present have included Trump supporters in their blasting exercises. I may not have posted much lately, but I'm aware of whats on the boards. The same people who hate Trump are the ones who supported Obama and all his crazy policies(that is the socialist policies of the political Left). Obama stands for everything I oppose. Ive watched how the political Left lies about Trump openly over the controlled media. One thing I will say is that Trump is definitely the outsider, and even people I used to like, such as Marco Rubio(before he went Establishment) have attacked him. The Establishment even on the GOP side don't want him to be successful. Its for a reason. Sometimes things he says make me cringe....but I'm wondering if some of it isn't real.....like the immigration comment on #hol countries....the media lies and makes up stuff, they rival the propaganda arm of the Communist Politburo of the old Soviet Union. Oh by the way, Obama did do an EO allowing propaganda....

Yesterday you posted in the Hawaii missle revelations thread bitching it was allready the 3rd thread, berating the OP and you could not even be bothered to read it first and clearly see it was not the same thread.

Then today you come post another one of 15,000 of the same threads

Do you not see your hypocrisy?

People try and make good threads and get a little bit of ATS back and you Trump haters only want to talk Trump.

You know, I posted a lot on the depopulation thing, including the role the bogus Climate Change thing plays in it. I posted comments from John Holdren, one of Obama's unelected Czars, on the issue, quoting from his book, in which he supported mass medication of the water supplies against both the people's knowledge and consent. I don't understand why people accept this type of person running our country. What has happened to people's minds?

Absolutely...

It blows my mind..

Less than 10 years ago Bush lied to start a war. Then gave his own private company the bajillion dollar rebuild contract..

A war costing America just an obscene amount of blood and treasure...

Yet somehow obama and hillary are evil based on some crazy thing they have drummed up.. or some paperwork loophole..

All the worst policies in history are conservative..

Citizens united, war on drugs, all the wars except for WW1-2. Patriot act..

Even somethings the dems get blamed for were conservative policies a dem president just signed..
