I didn't say it was evil, I said it's a wolf in sheep's clothing.

If only you were educated enough to know that was their actual official coat of arms, than you would understand I didnt make anything up or even pass judgment upon them.

I was merely agreeing with them about their own self chosen coat.

I guess you need to do more research and make less assumptions.

Yep, if only....

According to author Jon Perdue, "The logo of the Fabian Society, a tortoise, represented the group's predilection for a slow, imperceptible transition to socialism, while its coat of arms, a 'wolf in sheep's clothing', represented its preferred methodology for achieving its goal."

From the wiki.

To be specific my "level of education" = actually bothering to read the source. It's a minimal standard.

What's ironic is that the very source used against me is the same source explaining and substantiating my misunderstood post.

So actually it's my detractor who thinks "wolf in sheep's clothing" automatically means "evil".

I didn't say it was evil, and neither does the source say that. It says it represents their preferred means to achieving their goals.

So much for wit and jest.

These guys are called the 'white pen dragons' according to a fly-poster of theirs. They're blowing up on Twitter lately. They're another facet of the BNP approach with a little more intellect and getting hashtagged by supporters of white nationalism.

I hate scum like this.

They exist only to stir trouble and hate.

But you never stir anything like that do you?

Gimme a break.

If my posts stir you that is your problem not mine, try not to be quite so sensitive.

Are you claiming that you aren't doing the exact same things that you deride others for?

(In this case stirring up anger and trouble)

Because I was claiming you're no better than those you attack.

Can't speak for all Trump supporters, but I'll go out on a limb and say 90% of us give 0 #s about London or it's politics.

as opposed to khan sultan of the caliphate of londonbad.
but seriously trump aside khan is like former nyc mayor bloomberg they both run their respective towns like they were heads of state. truly delusions of grandeur . remember when khan said people in big cities should expect to occasionaly get hit by terror attacks it was normal. they should have canned him for that alone.

What he actually said:

part and parcel of living in a great global city is you’ve got to be prepared for these things. You’ve got to be vigilant. You’ve got to support the police; doing an incredibly hard job. You’ve got to support the security services.

Which bit did he deserve canned for?

Supporters of US President Donald Trump have disrupted a speech by Sadiq Khan and called for the London Mayor to be arrested.

Mr Khan was about to start speaking to the Fabian Society in London when he was disrupted by protesters from a group called the White Pendragons who shouted pro-Trump and pro-Brexit slogans.

Trump supporters demand London Mayor Sadiq Khan arrest

Anyone else starting to feel like these people need to learn that holding a different political view is not a crime, it does not make one stupid or brainwashed its just a different political view. So what Sadiq Khan does not like Trump, that is not a crime but it seems that some Trump supporters now think that opposing Trump should be a crime in itself.

Now I know this is not true of all, or indeed most, Trump supporters but when you have groups called the "White Pendragons" doing stuff like this in the name of your politics it is incumbent upon you all to call them out as the racist, xenophobic scum they are.

what about the Black Panthers doing stuff like that...

To think that its incumbant upon anyone to call out someone is absurd.

Seriously. Saying that is saying, "i paint with a broad brush and demand some virtue signalling before ill put my brush away."

So you wouldn’t call them out???

Surly it’s people like this who act out like this in the name of your politics who make you guys look bad.

I would expect you all to be at the front of the cue to call them out for it

not all of us are still stuck in the "my team versus your team" paradigm. it says far more about you considering youd lump everyone in with some people cause they claim some viewpoint that may or may not be shared by others. btw i love the fricken irony in this post you made

"I hate scum like this.

They exist only to stir trouble and hate."

making statements like that puts u right into the same group as those people u just tried to bash.

That I never said they were "evil".

You claimed I inferred that though I was merely making a jest referring to their original coat.

You then avoided apologizing for being ignorant and pretentious which is ungentlemanly behavior, earning my ire and provoking a scolding.

So a group from a country that isn't the United States, that has nothing to do with US politics, no influence on US politics, and for all intents and purposes has no dog in the fight of the current presidential administration makes the supporters of that administration look bad? This has got to be one the largest leaps in logic I've seen in a while.

Citizens of the United States are supposed to be held accountable for the jackassery of individuals in other countries just because for some reason that I can't begin to fathom they support the current US president? How? I would think the folks you would want to hold accountable reside on your particular side of the pond...

I for one dont like him, the way he spoke during the english terror attacks didnt feel right for me, a kind of get used to it and expect it to happen angle he came out with.
Its all good for these politicians living in affluent areas of cities likely with rapid response police at their service a few minutes away, but they tell us to get used to terrorism, while our women and daughters explode at music concerts.

Leaves a bitter taste.
