Obama sold the place to a rich muslim for peanuts and a healthy kickback, so he can make a 5 star hotel.

Uranium 1 style.

Where's Mueller? Mueller!

Th Embassy was sold late in 2009, well into the Obama presidency, meaning any final decisions around the deal were made during, yes, the Obama administration.

What final decisions do you assume needed to be made? As I've clearly demonstrated, the decisions central to the move — the decision to move, the site of the new location, the buyer for the current embassy — had all been made (or in the case of the buyer, all but made).

The only Obama decision we have any evidence of was the decision not to reverse the earlier administration's decisions.

So then why are you lying?

What am I lying about? At no point have said that the sale wasn't completed after Obama took office. Why do you keep falsely accusing me of lying?

No, it's a brute fact.

Sifting through a pile of bull# for isolated facts must be grueling work. Don't forget to wash your hands.

"The deal for the Chancery building in London’s Grosvenor Square with Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment was agreed by the US Ambassador to the UK, Louis Susman."

www.telegraph.co.uk...

"U.S. Ambassador Louis Susman signed the contract to sell the property to the Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Co., chaired by Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamid bin Jasim bin Jaber al-Thani."

www.washingtontimes.com...

Again, Trump neither lamented the decision to move, nor the site, nor anything you mention, but having done so "for peanuts". He said this explicitly. Ambassador Susman, appointed by Obama, signed the contract late in 2009.

It's not that hard to see through bull#. Torturing and quote-mining Trump's tweets for the purpose of spreading lies might be the most pathetic existence I could ever imagine, and I'll gladly get my hand dirty.

They sold the lease , the land and as far as I'm aware the building belong to the Duke of Westminster so perhaps that's why the price is perceived as low.
What was the price ?

The real story is that idiot political groups in the UK have strirred up such hatred for the man that, if he did come over for a state visit the streets would be lined with jeering, rioting scumbags who would do all sorts of damage and violence in the name of "Protest"

The very same Labour party people banging on about the right to protest against him were, a few years ago, tight lipped about a huge police operation to keep protests out of sight of the Chinese premier who's country's human rights record was a bloody joke compared to anything Trump might ever have done.

Its a pity, I would like to have seen him, but the morons have had the microphone for so long here that theirs is the only voice that gets heard.

I cant believe how we are living paycheck to paycheck and they are spending a billion $$$ on one efing building.

Where is the outrage about that? LOL What a stupid thread.

Trump cuts mere millions from programs that support U.S. citizens (but is a huge hit to those programs), and after claiming that he'll get out of wars and focus on the United States, he throws 30 BILLION at a military that reports to an office that can't account for literally TRILLIONS of dollars, and instead of being enraged by that.. you are upset about 1 billion?

Your post is stupider than the thread. Trump supporters don't seem to ever get it. Trump is PO'd about a 1 billion dollar building? That's effing hilarious (and his blame just wrong), after his utter dismissal of military spending, which is 2/3rds more than the 2nd highest.. and higher than the next ten countries military COMBINED. Not saying a 1 billion dollar embassy is warranted, but military spending is not either.. and it's cute to ignore it, yet call out this as a non-story.

How much is Brown spending on that "high speed" rail?

What's it now? $60 bil and still not done?

Rather have a kick ass military that no one will want to fk with than a BS train or pay for every moron that sneaks into the USA.

maybe its because of security reasons we already know london mayor does not like trump or america in general. maybe a ribbon cutting would have potus in a vunerable spot with to many tall buildings in area.

and if it was because of security you would never hear it. and is this structure on the thames that would be a bad spot a river barge can carry alot of explosives.

Trumple thinskin?

....I just called the EPA on this post. It's clearly clashing with the environment.

also, steer away from the temptation to use Trumpy McTrumpface. May I suggest a more jovial play on words?

Trumpity doo-dah

I'd read THAT one.

So, there is no Russian-Trump collusion/obstruction story? It's all Clinton?

Despite all Trump's done for the Russians and all he tried to do, and all the Russians did for him, it actually doesn't exist? In fact, it's Hillary, and the DNC and and and .

If there is corruption in the DNC, rejoice - that's a private enterprise with infighting, no more relevant to the country than if the infighting were at Apple.

If Hillary did something illegal THIS TIME (unlike the other 450 investigations into her that found nothing), if she did something, then allow career people at the DOJ and FBI handle it. Don't order them around from the Oval Office, that's what dictators do.

But, Hillary isn't president, she can't sign things, she can't order our military around, that's in the hands of one guy - one guy who has ties to Russia in every direction, and seems fixated on doing things the Kremlin seems to love, changing the RNC platform, defending Putin in the West, blowing off NATO - weakening it, attempting to life sanctions on his own without asking Russia to do anything, praising Putin for throwing out half our diplomatic corps (and ALL our spies) instead of acting like a REAL president and throwing half the Russians out, as had always been the case before, looking for a communication channel through the Russian embassy ....

If you don't think that ALL of that merits someone investigating it, then you're not "Conservative" in any way, you're just a Brainless Trump appendage, tilting at windmills, terrified of the real world.

In the real world, this big big country can do all the above. We can have corruption at the DNC (if there is any, let us worry about it), Hillary can be investigated AGAIN, AND, we can also investigate why it is that our "president" seems to care more about making Russia happy than Americans. We can and should do all that.

We can look at many things all at one time, and not lose our brain, dialing it into one person.

ROFLMAO...ties to Russia?... could you post those ties? please go ahead and post EVIDENCE...

All you can do is make false accusations. BTW, what we do know 100% is that Bill Clinton and Hillary were getting paid by the Russians meanwhile the Uranium 1 deal with RUSSIA was going on...

As for your "let the FBI do it's job"... Obama put Comey, and other people in charge of the FBI. McCabe's wife received around $600,000 from a long time Clinton supporter and confidant, and at the same time McCabe was given first the 3rd highest job in the FBI and within a year he was promoted to 2nd in command of the FBI... McCabe was in charge of the Hillary email investigation... If you don't see the collusion, and corruption you are more blind than a bat...

Then there is the dossier BS story which Comey himself had to state that there was nothing there that could be corroborated about the claims made in the dossier... Not to mention that the dossier was supposedly a 3rd and 4th hearsay story with not ONE iota of evidence to corroborate those claims about President Trump...

That's also not mentioning the whole GPS collusion with the DNC. The DNC paid GPS millions for the dossier, and GPS hired the former British spy who could only come up with hearsay and again with not ONE iota of evidence to corroborate the claims made about President Trump.

Well if he had released his tax returns as he said he would it would make his case that he has nothing to do with Russians a bit more believable.
Oh and quit going on about Clinton or obama this is to do with Trump.

The unwashed Labour supporters would be all over it, but they do not represent Britain, they are the opposition party in the UK, bit like your Dem's but more socialist.

Who does represent Britain?

I know it's not the mayor of London, that's the best answer I can give you.

Nicely deflected but it doesn't hide the vacuum at the centre of your argument.

Nevertheless, Khan wasn't speaking for the UK. He was speaking for London. The city that elected him. Will of the People and all that,
