1. Non-public meeting
2. Where's the audio? Just not going to believe it without it.
3. Didn't this come from the Washington Post?

All three are reasons for me to seriously not give a damn. LOL.

Psst...

Paul Ryan was there and has not denied the comments, but rather publicly condemned them (as much as a GOP dufus can)

You’re right, Haiti is a lovely, productive country that people all over the world are clamoring to become citizens of.
All your dreams can come true in Haiti, if you just work hard.
You will be treated fairly and equally as soon as you land upon Haiti’s welcoming shores, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex, or sexual orientation.

Oh shuddup. We all know this is about more than just “dirty” words.

This man insulted numerous people and their countries. Do you think we’re the only country that has pride?

If you are shallow enough to think this is just about the “dirtiness” of it, then I implore you to return to your homework for the long weekend.

Yes, yes, yes, we should all clutch our pearls and die of shame ...

I get it.

It was far better when our politicians were insulting their own citizenry on a regular basis ... which, come to think of it, might have been why they lost the last election.

He refers to Haitian and African as having sh__hole countries and why can't we have them from Norway

And that isn't a racist statement?

No its a fact.

Haiti and most African countries are corrupt and terrible places to live filled with very uneducated people who have few skills to offer.

Norway is very rich, has one of the highest standards of living in the world and a education system better than the USA.

Its a FACT immigrants from Norway will contribute more.

Thats not racism, at worst its educational elitism.

Norway has a much higher standard of living than America does, why would they want to downgrade their lifestyles?

Isn't it racist to say one country is better than another?

No, however if I were to imply American people were undesirable immigrants that could be construed as racist.

I wonder what he says about Calcutta?

Dickhead Durbin refutes it and Paul Ryan wasn't there.

Purdue and Cotton says he didn't say it.

If it was leaked you can bet the farm he didn't say it.

Thanks Eshel. Someone said what I was thinking. Its unbelievable to me, with all his lies and insults, that anyone could continue to defend him.
Reminds me of a kid getting caught stealing and blame it on the fact that it was just laying there. He always has a reason to blame something or someone else. If someone in his position is not capable of excepting any blame or responsibility he should step down. After all he knows the best words and a lot of words. He's also a stable genius.
He is a narrow minded a-hole with the brain of a hamster.

If his supporters don't wake-up and see him for what he his, they will be guilty of contributing to the downfall of the Republican party.

You guys make me laugh.

All these angry comments you are typing ...

They sound so much like the things we all typed about Democrats for 8 long years, particularly Obama.

Now, we can all talk around and around ourselves all day, or we can face facts: There are indeed two Americas with two versions of what's happening, and since each seems incapable of accepting any validity at all to anything the other has to say. We're all going to continue this dance until one side or the other starts shooting.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Frankly I'm so sick of it I could scream. I've switched off the news tonight and am watching ghost stories while simultaneously reading a book about aliens.

I'll be glad when Trump moves on to the next stupid, odious thing, and everybody else can too.
Bah.

True... that’s why Trump would rather socialist immigrants instead.

Because they’re the epitome of conservative beliefs!

It wasn't so much that he used the word to describe these places it's that he asked 'why'.

If you also don't know why, let me tell you; it's because it's what America was founded on. It's what the Statue of Liberty is standing there for. It's the fundamental and basic meaning of the 'American Dream.'

As our first president put it:

I had always hoped that this land might become a safe & agreeable Asylum to the virtuous & persecuted part of mankind, to whatever nation they might belong;

Nope.

In order to emulate that we would be using a gazillion different ways to say the word Ni****r without saying it.

Trump's popularity amongst the dying regressive population that thinks science is a hoax and assaulting women is great is just a continuation of the last gasps of the morally bankrupt and the cognitively challenged.

Good to see them crawl out from beneath the rocks lest there be any confusion about what kind of retards support him when his massive dumpster fire of historical proportions comes to a conclusion via Impeachment, conviction, or removal from office for mental issues or other inevitable end.

Pipe up folks! wave the orange oaf flag! Let's get the teams straight now.

YES! GOOD!

Feel the hatred flowing through you.

Along with all those dog whistles *you* hear; you also get to keep coming up with a gazillion ways to slander folks who live in the heartland because you think we're all too stupid and ignorant to actually understand you when you do it!

To disagree is a part of democracy, is it not? I just need someone to explain to me how you can defend someone whos ego is so big it defies rational thought.

We all hold our breath, and await Trump's next comment or tweet.

For we're certain, it'll jig our minds and cause it to release a torrent of consequential thoughts.

Common Donald, plant the next seed.

Roots ready to take hold, branches ready to sprout, the tree of life awaits the next coming of the Master's word; to spring to life, once again.

I live in the heartland. So eff off.
Heatland does not mean ignorant.
I know folks that gambled on Trump and are now feeling twice effed.
For that he deserves twice the condemnation.
