"I will be announcing THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR on Monday at 5:00 o'clock," Trump tweeted. "Subjects will cover Dishonesty & Bad Reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media. Stay tuned!"
"The interest in, and importance of, these awards is far greater than anyone could have anticipated!"
It is unclear what the White House actually has planned for Jan. 17.

Attempted brainwashing, Trump is farrrrrr....from being the arbiter of, 'real news' so anything he has to say about fake news is far less a poke, more of a joke.

So we have all heard about Trump and the Fake News Awards at this point I believe.
Refresher:

"I will be announcing THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR on Monday at 5:00 o'clock," Trump tweeted. "Subjects will cover Dishonesty & Bad Reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media. Stay tuned!"
That was his original tweet.
He then changed the date to January 17th because interest was really high it was said. Specifically he said:
"The interest in, and importance of, these awards is far greater than anyone could have anticipated!"
Now I get the interest portion, but he stated the importance of as well. This has me thinking the original tweet was to let people know. But the plan was never to do this on that Monday and was always planned for the 17th.
As we all know Trump is no fan of Fake News but to have the WH sponsor a Fake News Awards ceremony is really odd to say the least. Humor isn't something I believe is part of the optics the WH has used in the past.
My thought is this is a way to gain the most viewers for a real announcement based on what many believe will be a poke at Fake News again.
He already has everyone's ear about the Fake News outlets and has called them on it every time. Awards for it just seems like a cover story to me in order to get people anxious and anticipating it...getting them to tune in.
He is also scheduled to do it on a Wednesday...this suggests a level of real importance.
And even politico is wondering:
It is unclear what the White House actually has planned for Jan. 17.

I believe we are in for an announcement that will be tied to all current happenings with the investigations going on into all things from past administrations. Maybe even hear something about the 10k indictments?
Thoughts?

Actually I thoroughly researched and posted about the indictments when the first popped up.
Feel free to find the thread and read. You are not comparing the same things with what you posted and your link.

Please, show me evidence. I haven't seen anything verifiable in any thread or "news" story about it. Only anonymous sources.
Thanks.
