To Humankind

To those of you who have suffered
I bow down on my knees to you
as I look into your eyes,
my heart pounds
like a drum in the deepest of caverns
for all the injustice you have contained, sustained
all that disgrace that has been
spattered over you.
All the trampling, all the tampering
you have lived through.
For all those kind humans
that have died along the way.
All of those whose dreams
were stolen.
By the unholy, by the rotten.
Believe this, by what has happened,
you shall not be known.
But rather by your kind hearts
You have outgrown
your evil brothers and sisters.
For they have lost their place
amongst the Humankind
They are neither Human
or neither kind.
Rest assured,
those of you who know,
are now the Humankind
Tis a blessing for earth
to celebrate your birth
or for sharing your love around.
