Knew that was coming a while ago when his billionaire backers the Mercers said they were looking for somebody else to put their money behind.

At a tangent, isn't it weird how Soros gets lots of flak for being a billionaire with a sinister political agenda, while the Mercer family who are just as rich and just as sinister, get away scott-free in the accusations takes?

oh now trumpsters cant stand bannon either? but i thought wolff was a liar and bannon never said those things? when i was calling bannon out for what he was trumpsters defended him as a hero but now that donny has turned his back on him trumpsters have as well. cult of personality much?

the funny part is that bannon although kicked to the curb continues to give his undying support and loyalty to donald trump. lol i think don jr and pence are going to take bannon on a quiet fishing trip very soon.

This is what I was thinking, Trump supporters upheld bannon as a hero when he and Trump were good, making excuses for everything he said or did, defending him tooth and nail.

Then when Trump is done with him, all the sudden hes trash.

They have done this since Trump started running for office, they eat their own at the whim of Trump, regardless of how steadfast they were in the past for them.

its predictable and disgusting.

Trump supporters, like Trump, have no loyalty or true convictions, they swing with whatever word Trump gives, like an obedient lap dog to its owner

Not even close. George Soros is worth an estimated $8 Billion. The Mercers may not even be worth $1 Billion... www.townandcountrymag.com...

It's comparing an elephant to a Great Dane.

Yeah, they just parrot what they Dear Leader says. For starters, notice how many will call him Sloppy Steve.

As for Bannon, if he is truly out in the dumps, and it appears so, maybe soon will be the time for him to strike to back. That, or fade away into obscurity.

Maybe Bannon will write his own tell all book.

Who knows? But will be interesting to see where he lands.

What is also interesting is watching the echo chambers roar. Goes to show that if you cross the wrong people you are going to be hammered in life altering ways. Bannon is getting the crappy end of the stick compared to Wolff who is still in the limelight. I am also interested in where Wolff ends up after the dust calms down.

Wolff ends up at the Bank. Thanks, in part, to the POTUS.

Bannon could buy CNN. CNN is losing so much money and it beaten in the ratings by Nick at Nite.

This will end up biting everyone on the ass, Breitbart, Mercer, Trump, his kids.

Bannon has nothing left to lose now and that makes him very dangerous. I bet he's already lined up a publisher for his tell all.

Unless, of course, he gets mysteriously Breitbarted...like It's founder....

Lol and the Wishful Thinking Anti-Trump brigade thought Bannon was gonna take Trump down.

The year of disappointments is extending into 2018.

IMHO, it just substantiates that every POTUS morphs into part of the deep state. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Precious few relinquish it and, most certainly, all seek to crush those who threaten it.

You don't think Bannon shot himself in the foot here?

How does that make any sense?

Who appointed Brannon? Lol, it certainly wasn't a leftist.

Just more of the same from the Trump administration, eating their own and throwing each other under the bus.

It's a trainwreck.

Louise Mensch has theorized a handful of times that Bannon was involved in Andrew Breitbart's untimely death.

Only if they have something on him. Blackmail material. Which, let's face it, they might given the Russian collusion allegationsns.

It's really just one political black swan after the other now. Anything is possible.

Bannon is a classic case of a man with little self control, no modesty and a colossal ego run amuck.

Sure he helped Trump win but so did David Axelrod take an obscure AA senator and make him president and he didn’t think he was therefore the greatest thing since sliced bread as Bannon obviously started to think of himself.

Exactly. He will fight tooth and nail. If he perceives Trump 'destroyed' him, he will go tit for tat. Bannon is every bit as narcissistic as Trump, it just manifests in a different way. As long as they recognize his 'brilliance", he doesn't care about what they think about how he looks, or whether or not they like him. He doesn't care about friendships, he only cares about 'allies', and before long, he might be caring about an income.

Yeah but he doesn’t want to go against Trump because now he has no backers, he has no followers—losing the site now he’s striped of any abilty to wage a war of words.

Plus he still wanted to attach himself to Trumpism

Bannon wanted to have his cake and eat it too

And so he has choked himself.

You answered your own question. Some of the anti-Trumpers thought this would lead to Bannon turning on Trump and spilling all the "evidence" of Russia collusion and all kinds of other stuff. That didn't happen.

Yep. One way or the other, nobody in politics will ever touch him again. Stick a fork in him.
