Obama was plenty likable. He had charisma.

I just never saw it. I heard people say he was charismatic, but I could never see it.

He had the same type of charm that Southern pulpit preachers have. It's a cadence used when speaking. Husband was raised in a Southern Baptist environment and spotted it early on when he was giving his speeches. So many of those preachers have that sort of style/cadence/charm that sort of lures you in and makes you want to like them.

It's one of the reasons why we stopped listening to his speeches and starting reading transcripts. You stop really listening to it and just start sort of floating on it after a while if it really works on you. But a person has to have some charisma to really make it work well.

That's why I never saw it then. It only took a minute for me to turn the channel when he spoke. I always felt like he was lecturing me. I stuck to reading summaries and transcripts, too.

YOU GET A CAR

YOU GET A CAR

EVERYBODY GETS A CAR

Some of those people who won the cars could not afford to pay the taxes on the car. In Chicago, it's 11%. They had to take out a bank loan.

Let her run..
Easy win for Trump my main man

I dunno, if everyone attending her rallies gets new cars she might be impossible to defeat.

The real problem is that Oprah will be *above* criticism, unlike Hillary. The media will see that Oprah runs and wins.

Especially if she chooses Michelle Obama as her running mate.

Would an OPRAH Presidency be more like a HILLARY or a BARACK Presidency?

Trick question...there was no Hillary presidency.

We know enough about Hillary to accurately discern what her Presidency would have looked like, don't we?

For a running mate? My bets are on Zukerberg, he has a bottomless pit of money that the dems desperately need and both are likely to continue that march towards socialism/communism.

So it's obvious you have absolutely no idea what socialism/communism is.

They will certainly try to put her on that pedestal like they did Obama. I wonder how many would fall for it the second time around though.

They all will.

Another disaster. Let her run. lol.

Oh gosh. Just no. As heinous as the Dorito in Chief might be, Oprah is not an improvement.

People I'd vote for in 2020 rather than Oprah:

Bernie Sanders
Jill Stein
Tulsi Gabbard
Bruce Springsteen
John McCain
Mitt Romney
Heck, Elon Musk is doing great things in PR. I'd vote for him... over Oprah.

What next- Martha Stewart as VP?

Martha Stewart wouldn’t be Oprah’s VP. I’m Pretty sure Dr. Phil would take the role.

I'd really love if someone could explain to me what people's problem with Oprah is that you rail so hard against her running for Prez.

I got really, really tired of being told that I couldn't possible have principled objections to Obama era policy on its merits. I just didn't like it because he was black.

You tell me that the same tired canards won't be resurrected for an Oprah presidency. "You just don't like cause she's a black woman!"

That didn't actually answer my question. Just saying.

Oh please let Oprah run against Trump. It'd be an epic failure for her and entertainment at it's best!

How many of the Dems here realize that Oprah is a CFR member!

So you have a link for your claim, and not a garbage right-wing source like Alex Jones?

The CFR don't seem to have her on their list.

www.cfr.org...

Not here either.

en.wikipedia.org...

Hmm...

Mark my words, she's going to be sunk within a few months. With the allegations made towards her regarding her close friend Weinstein, and the pedophilia claims regarding her schools in Africa, I see no way she'd ever run.

A New Trend of Secret Meetings Aside From Bilderberg

The last time such people of this caliber met in secret, an article arose by Servando Gonzalez titeled Billionaires For Eugenics exposing the diabolic cabal of groupies including people to the likes of Bill Gates and Oprah Winfrey as traitors against humanity.
