This is certainly not the first time the Russians made political clap back at the U.S using the U.S own domestic failings not even the first time Black livesMatter used as a cudgel to hit American foreign policy over the head with.
It's hard to talk about rights of foreigners in other nations while having issues on one's home turf with one's own citizens, looking at it from the outside seemed like hypocrisy.
And it justify the abuse of foreign governments of their own people because we lost the moral high ground, unless what we are really talking about is political theater without substance.
