Like I said, the UN mandated sanctions against Iran ceased in 2015/16 as Iran had demonstrated that they had ceased their nuclear programme. Crying that the reason for Iran's problems are because of sanctions is nonsense and a distraction because it's plainly untrue. Your analysis of the situation is simplistic and lazy, but I respect your opinion nonetheless.

Thanks for your links. I see where you are getting confused. The recent levelling of independent and very limited US sanctions against named companies that trade with one branch of Iran's military is irrelevant to the situation in Iran. The UK has a trade embargo / sanctions against Iran for the supply of military kit, and that is hardly why the Iranian economy is poorly run. Please, try again.

If sanctions are the cause of all Iran's woes then please explain your thinking because so far you have failed to do so.
