you know I agree with you on not necessarily always wanting to know. eventually you kinda get over the curiosity. accept there's more going on than one knows or understands and just accepts that in some cases ignorance is bliss. like with me for instance. from our personal conversations you're well aware of the recent choices in my life I've made in an effort to get away from much of those inigmas and to simplify things. I got a taste of the simple life and I really enjoy it. now I'm in a phasing out stage having lived nearly 40 years immersed in strangeness and realizing it really is better to stop and smell the roses on occasion.

The trademark link was not meant as proof of their ownership.

A quick web search will produce:

Thomas Winterton, an attorney representing Adamantium Holdings LLC, proposed for vacation a portion of Hicken Ranch Road roughly three miles south of U.S. Route 40 between Ballard and Fort Duchesne. Adamantium Holdings owns the so-called Skinwalker Ranch of local folklore, which is traversed by Hicken Ranch Road. Winterton proposed the road be vacated due to excessive amounts of trespassers from around the world attempting to witness paranormal activity on the property.

You and i both.

Sometimes I think I've got a little unfinished work to do..
but maybe that's just the strange trying to pull me back
in.

Don't know which it is right now.

What?

Are they trying to build on an "indian burial ground" ?
don't they watch old movies from the 80's ?

I'm very familiar with 'anisgina' - personally even. As it so happens, my wife
is too. We call them "black sludge monsters" as that's what they look like
and feel like, if you've got one infesting you.. which both my wife and I
are prone to that infestation.

They tend to infest the stomach area.. now.. I'm not sure if that's just in
the pupal stage... I think that's probably the case.. I'd say that they tend
to live underground for most of their life-cycle.. but those who bond with
humans tend to come around and do mischief from time to time.

Not being mean---just pointing out that your opinion about other folks opinions is based on even less than those other folks opinions/beliefs and is more fantastical than many of the opinions of others you bash as if you KNOW and no one else does. Sigh. love you, Brudda, you know that, but you are a piece of work when it comes to this topic.

From what you describe, Demons is as damn a good a word as any other and Demonology isn't just a Christian study in case you didn't know. If you admittedly have some kind of "attachment"---One that has powers over human consciousness as you've stated in this thread that is germane to the topic. It's also been noted that if "They" exist they are known liars right? You reported you discussed as much with Vallee.

Correct me if my logic here is flawed but by your own words and admissions, you have an Non-Human Attachment--The "Phenomenon"--that has the ability to influence you and is known to lie about it's true nature.

One other thing: Tell me why your imperious proclamations of your opinions as fact is not a faith-based philosophy?

Hugs for real, but, hey...some things just have to be said.

Skinwalker Paranormal Theme Park...

Any information on whether they've sorted out a hotdog vendor?

Well so as to not show favoritism, and to hide the relationship with Bigelow,
the stand is named "Our Three Dogs", and includes his original two dogs
plus a blurry picture of the "bullet-proof wolf" and is located IN FRONT
of the ticket boot to enter, not inside.

I take myself as "little seriously" as other people... despite the "evidence" to the contrary.

It's required...

I do everything I can, to ignore the stuff, and to remain rational.

As for "demons".. that's a label with low information content.

As for my "imperiousness"... if one is not confident in one's own research,
then one is a loser!

I don't expect anyone to believe my research, any more than I believe theirs.

but given the nature of an internet chat forum, I'm free to speak just like they
are.

Someday we will straighten this stuff out... and until then, well-researched material
(50 years plus) has every bit as much right to be heard as Bibliotecapleyades.

I don't mind you posting like that.. you have every right to do so.

People who know me.. know how to take me... and don't need to make posts
like yours... which had relatively low information content.. except perhaps
for people brand new to "prettybear" postings.

No hard feelings at all. I disregard about 50% of what you post too.. which..
given the subject matter.. should be considered a compliment.

I want to clarify something I've said many times, but people don't seem to listen..
(you might.. I'm speaking to several people with this clarification)..

Lets call them "nature spirits" or "plasma beings" or whatever you like.. but in their
natural environment, they are not "demons" as in evil.

Now we could talk about the original greek "daemons", which had a completely
innocent (and more informative meaning).. but that's for another conversation.

It's only when these things start to lurk in the human nervous system that they
become negative..

and this is not "blame the victim here".

but the human mind, especially the unconscious parts of it, has a lot of crud in it..
that would drive *anything* bathed in it 24x7 "evil".

I'd say that's usually what happens in these kind of cases... what starts out as
innocuous... gets silly with a slight mean edge.. and eventually gets really
nasty (like Mothman).

that this progression can be seen, just like you presented.. should be a major
clue.. that for some reason people ignore.

*shrug*

Also, I don't know how the word never got out.. but one of the ways of the shamnan
is to "retain spirits in your own body". this is not arcane knowledge.. i believe even
Eliade reports this...

There's nothing really exotic about my take on this.. and it's reported in bits and pieces
by others over the ages... I suppose I put more of a science-spin on it, as i love science.

I hope that was helpful. Though I suspect you already knew those things. Not really
a big secret.

I'd like to clarify another point for you too, my friend. (we are friends in the same
sense that BP and I are... some respect and some adversarial I suppose.. but that's
ok...).

I wouldn't take that "black sludge monster" thing in too worrisome a manner.

One of the reasons I'm so confident (though possibly wrong of course) in certain
things is that I've experienced them.. and not just once, but many times.. and
I've noted the full spectrum.. from innocent to 'evil' more than once.

People get all freaky about 'demons'.

But really... memes influence us more than 'demons'.

Really.. in a very real sense... "demons" ARE A FORM OF MEME..
or a virus..

Both memes and viruses barely exist at all.. without a host system
to take advantage of.

We might even consider "demons" as bad memes with an electromagnetic
component.

When a person is fore-warned they are fore-armed.

I know not to trust various things in this world.. due to experience..

this lack of trust is very informed... it doesn't mean that I'm weak..
it means that I'm *strong*.

It's like with scorpions..

some people keep them as pets...

and they know how not to get stung.. or they grow immune to it..

but there's no denying the POTENTIAL nature of a "scorpion".

For your information, I've not experienced a negative "energy meme"
for almost 5 years... and it was only during my divorce from my second
wife that i got so negative, hurt and vulnerable. (now mind you.. when
I was beaten with iron rods as a child I experienced the blackness too..).

My beloved current wife has clinical depression... and has had a few encounters
during her life.. so she's a bit vulnerable. But sh'es not had one for years now
either.

It's like with stomach bacteria... we need them to live... some of them... and
others are neutral.

But mess them up, and you may need to eat some special yogurt to restore
balance.

I really don't like knee-jerk, poorly informed opinions on 'demons'.. but
there is a huge lack of solid information on that topic.. so i guess it must
be forgiven.

I hope that better knowledge than my own comes around some day...
but I can only make do with what I have.

No bother, you owe me no apology. You my friend carry your deep resentment on your sleeve. I empathize and understand.

I was not even referring to Gnosticism. Moreover, with all due respect, regarding this topic, metaphysics, you’re not as erudite as you think you are.

Peace

I have a question.

if I promise to buy the critters expensive electronics gear like a 65" plasma screen and a PlayStation 4 in exchange for manifesting phoney 100 dollar bills from thin air do you think best buy will catch on that their counterfeit right away or only later when they disintegrate into a shapeless sludge while counting out the till?

Remember life is not so serious young Kevin. Especially the things we debate on here on this forum.

It's good to lighten up sometimes my friend. And I have had a vision. This project is all about a theme park!!!!

I can see the need for a Global Security Office (and hotdog taster) now...it all falls into place.

In fact there are plenty of products that they could market.

"De Long Dogs" - literally the biggest weiner in town!

"The Jim Semi-Dog" - half the size, half the calories. Served with Mellon.

"The Puthoff Dog" - currently out of stock. Despite promises delivery maybe delayed indefinitely. Don't be put off though.

Maybe they serve 'Bob's Big Burgers' inside the park? And of course for us Brits afternoon "Dough Tea".

But I'm an expert at taking insults nicely!

Actually... I don't think that I'm *especially* erudite at anything.

And of course people see in others, what they most dislike about themselves.

Now what do I most dislike in others.. hmmmmm. I'll have to ponder that.

Kev

Oh PS my friend!

In my view, human metaphysics is nearly ENTIRELY wrong... ENTIRELY.

So yes.. you are correct.. I'm not an expert on what is wrong.. I leave that to others.

Now maybe "the world according to Pretty Bear" is ALSO wrong.. we shall have to
see about that one.. those clothes are still in the wash.

That was a beautiful point you made, that I'm not an expert on all that wrong stuff.
so true.

I've seen your pain... I couldn't dislike you.

My step-father was a narcissist.. he kept trying to crush my personality into nothing,
as I refused to "worship him". He actually said he deserved my worship.

I think that is an extra reason that I don't wilt under pressure.

I was tortured and tortured as a child.. and I gave it right back.
