A small organic citrus orchard of about a dozen trees.

Here's a thought.

Us old farts complain that food doesn't taste like it did when we were kids. The youngsters tell us "It's just your imagination, you silly old coot, you're getting old."

We blame chemical farming, we blame monoculture.

The "phenomenon" exists all around us.

Everyone has to eat to survive.

Broad acre farming, chemical farming, deforestation. We change everything to suit ourselves. We eliminate competition and build machines to do it.

My "dark presence" today observed, while I reached out to squish some aphids on an orange tree; "You kill without thought".

He is right.

If the "phenomenon" feeds upon flavours, the organic esters of plants, as has been demonstrated to me in my orchard, it begs the question; why is our food becoming tasteless?

Are we starving the"phenomenon" so it has little choice but to absorb the flavours of our crops, pastures and livestock?

If so are we beginning to starve too if the nourishment is gone?

It might seem odd to want to interact with the "phenomenon".

I simply want to know what it eats for nourishments. I think it important.

Levenda’s a great writer, IMO, and has written some good stuff.

The only thing I can say about his TTSA book is that it’s for people who don’t have much info on the subject so he goes through all this well-known information.

Strawberries and cream, obviously.

Dick Doty said so, so it must be true.

Here's a thought;

Let's say you have a place in the world where this "phenomenon" allegedly seems to occur more often than other places and these occurrences are supposedly quite well documented.

Then you have a group who are looking at people who seem to be more susceptible to this phenomenon, experiencers, antenna etc.

Surely it's not a huge leap of logic that you would then put the two together to see if it can be coaxed out more and document it?

I find it interesting that we have the new SWR owner(s) (which I won't discuss as that thread was closed for just that, so I respect that) who want to carry on the scientific research there and then another group who are most likely in communication with them....I cannot see why or how they wouldn't be...

Now this is me thinking outloud of course and just putting two and two together, but then logic is seldom used in this subject matter..so........

Thoughts?

The reality is that The Phenomenon is in control

And if it can laugh and has a sense of humor, it is still laughing at TTSA.

Why not, the next logical step in my opinion.

You wouldnt go fishing where there was no fish and equally where there is with no bait..to put it in pretty grotesque simplistic terms...

I imagine they already were there, are there, or will be there in due course.

Since the DIA's visit to the ranch in 2007 and their almost instantaneous experience of the Phenomenon (in the form of an orb) within 15 minutes of arrival (as related by George Knapp in God knows which radio interview) and subsequent BAASS and AATIP shenanigans, the entity had obviously awoken from its impetuous slumber (and dislike of NIDS?).

So, why on earth wouldn't it be ripe for fresh dabbling?

You make the great point that like some people are psychic some places may be more prone to this weird stuff. SWR is an example.

Great idea for a horror movie. Some rich guy like Bigelow owns SWR and he offers 1 million dollars to certified and known psychics to spend a month or maybe two months there and see what happens!

Well in the skinwalker documentary they said some of the phenomenon manifested with they believe were knife like instruments...to explain the mutilations etc. What if one of these pieces of knives, fell off..or parts were left behind... That isn't magnesium bismuth...or from behind the back of your shed or sofa..

Let's say you have an antenna person, sat on the ranch holding said metal...hell that's what I would get them doing...

I think I'm entering too far into moo woo territory here...

Just rambling..

A good 'ole ramble can still yield results, pigsy.

I can imagine them sitting there now, on a deck chair, in the middle of a field of cattle, waving a sharp implement invitingly.

The cattle would probably scarper, lol.

Gawd, I hear "we want to know" so often on ATS and when research does come the way of ATS no one wants to know.

I'm fairly certain that's been tried. Heck, most of the folk that have been involved seem to be charter members of the Woo-Woo Club. If anyone has an "antenna" I'd be prone to wager that Eric Davis does. The woos may be on to something for all I know so no particular offense.

Awhile back I spent a lot of time with the new age crowd. More in an observer role however. They were friends of mine and always looking to convert me so to speak but I wasn't buying it

During that time I saw a little of what we call high strangeness. Was it psychological? I don't know, but it seemed more destructive than helpful and seemed to revolve around the ones who were deep into "spirit guides" or "Angels" or those who communicated with "aliens." Whatever the name they prefered but it all seemed the same to me

Back to SWR, it has been suggested that the property was used to conduct tests along the lines of Vallee's "Control System." It makes sense that they would do so I reckon.

Your thoughts are definitely interesting and entirely logical, if difficult to substantiate. Everything is prone to starvation, so why should the Phenomenon be otherwise? I'm sure many of us are pondering the point.

Don't let Tricky Dicky Doty's 30-year-old ideas distract you - just a rare example of this aspect being discussed in the distant past. Even if a bloody stupid one.

I sympathize.

But for thousands of years, people thought they could intuit things
and thus 'rip them out of the universal mind' - also known as
mysticism. Easier said than done.. Perhaps functionally impossible.

So all these crazy things were invented.. systems.. memes.. occult
this and that.. only at best they were all 99% wrong. By random
chance and evolution like genetic evolution did a little turn out
to work. Very little.

Now science.. you poke and prod and experiment.. and you can
force some relatively true knowledge into existence.

But of course science isn't cuddly like self-delusion.

In general, people, all people, want their confirmation biases
confirmed.. which means that really nobody wants to listen to
anyone else, except to take bits of their stuff and claim it
as their own.. if it's a close enough fit.

Humans are like bottom feeders, who then become what
they eat..

Everyone wants their own brand of platinum-plated self-delusion
and has a tin ear for other people's versions.. and that's actually
good.. only the best ideas have any chance of being heard...

even then "consensus reality" blocks most things out..

It's ok to attempt to intuit things.. but if you can't prove them,
they are worth basically nothing.. except as a form of auto-eroticism
of the ego.

My experience..
