Total War heads to Anglo-Saxon England , Thrones of Britannia

Following their foray into the fantasy world of Warhammer and the slightly disappointing return to Rome Creative Assembly have announced their next game will be returning to merry old England , Anglo-Saxon England to be precise at the time of Alfred The Great.


The game is expected to ship later this year and hopefully will be a return to form for one of my favourite RTS series.

This is not just war , this is Total War !

Bring back all the horrible traits royals acquire from inbreeding and I am in.

Kinda miss the extra layers the game had but like a sucker I will buy and buy the blood gore dlc for the 10th time.
