Yes when multiple people in the Trump Admin say contradictory things. The fact that there are so many issues where staffers and cabinet members are on different pages is crazy. It shows at the minimum that Trump is changing his mind ever time he talks to someone else or he is lying to his staffers. Paints a really bad picture about how this admin is completely off the rails and no one knows what is going on from the President down.

fox news launched in 1996, CNN launched in 1980.... both were launched as 24/7 cable news channels...
neither were or are available unless you have cable.
but CNN came first???
ABC, NBC, CBS probably all preempted their regular schedule to cover the state of the union, or at least that's how remember it being.

as far as some congressmen deciding to boycott the speech, is that really something worthy of getting all uptight about. are you gonna sit by your tv and watch it? if the president manages to say anything worthy of paying attention to, there will be transcripts available to skim through later at your convenience.
and like so many pointed out... it's not the first time some have opted not to be there, and it hasn't just been dems to have boycotted these speeches. it really amazes me how what some find as perfectly acceptable behavior to be tolerated when it's not their guy in the white house all of a sudden are so outraged when the same behavior is done but it's their guy in the white house.

I believe it doesn’t really matter if he is there or not and patriotism shouldn’t be constued as a “love of government” it is a love of the land and people. Two totally different things and shouldn’t be carelessly swapped or else the impressionable citizens may forget that government doesn’t make Americans. It’s Americans whom make the government.
If the congressman believes that he is serving the will of the majority of his constituents then he is justly representing their will. If the majority sees otherwise then his representation is rogue. Only the constituents of his district can judge their representative.

Well, Fox News did point out the lying aspects of President Obama's personality. But that was because those lies were material to legislation he was advocating. (ObamaCare/Affordable Care Act) So, if you want to say that Fox News was attacking Obama's personality, in a strict sense, you're right.

I have an entire thread demonstrating why CNN should be labeled a terrorist organization by the Dept of Justice. If you watch CNN for just a few hours a week, it will be clear to you that the network is Anti-America. Not only for what they DO say, but also for what they FAIL to report.

I have confidence that the Trump Administration will rid this country of that terrorist group. They can relocate to another nation, and spew their Anti-President / Anti-USA messages from there.

From 25 years of seeing and experiencing how Illinois/Chicago politicians operate, President Obama's methods for getting what he wanted were perfectly clear. Smile and Tell people what they want to hear in public. In private, tell those in power what they want to hear. (Hillary tried that crap too. Thank-goodness Trump was more believable.)

The boycotting Congressman may be following his conscience, but boycotting is a short-sighted action. It can hurt his constituency back home, if something is needed from the Feds while he's in Trump's "doghouse".
