Well didn't we just say that Gitmo was gearing up to house higher profile inmates?

He may need to be careful. I would not trust the US. He may just get trumped up on some back door, back road, back woods way.

I would not take the offer no matter how sick I got of fish and chips.

He will lilely end up commiting "sucide".

All they'd see is porn and crypto pricing and charts.

I dunno if I'd wanna leave that embassy still, actually. He could be in Trump's good graces all day that doesn't mean the Clinton's / CIA dont have a hit out on him.

Well when it comes to taking him out, I bet there are lines queuing up for a ticket. I said years ago when he had his "sickness" he wasn't truly sick, he knew he was gonna get whacked if he left the embassy. And now he will have to live the rest of his life knowing each and every day could be his last.

And people said we won the cold war. Did we though?

After all, if revealing the truth about the machinations of those in power, without even putting any political slant on it, just revealing it and proving the veracity of the leaks leads to a lifetime death sentence, which is what Wikileaks is all about, then did we even win?

What is the point of our so called freedom if there are no checks and balances?

It used to be that the press would actually investigate these things, they don't anymore, why?

Your answer is above.

We just accept that those in power have the power of life and death and we almost cheer on the bad guys.

Don't mess with the deep state bro', they'll getcha!!!

Who won the cold war really?

I guess it's possible that one of those 9000 sealed indictments might be for Assange, but evidence suggests otherwise. US law is firmly on Wikileaks/Assange's side, and various Trump Admin officials have made statements either supporting Wikileaks, or supporting freedom of the press in general. The writing on the wall is pretty clear.

I guess new administration...I hope people noticed just how aggressive and closed Obama's administration was. It was almost a complete lock down of FOIA, and Trump good or bad is like the complete opposite, so I guess we will see if Assange is a free man. My assumption is he will be.

I'm wondering what Assange told Dana Rohrbacher a few months ago during that visit he made to the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.

A typical sucide I am sure, two shots to the back of the head, a normal sucide.

This is good news. I want to see the liberal media talking-heads do their whining butt-hurt cry-baby routine again.

Maybe Assange has to get protection.
If all of the formerly hidden things come out, his insurance files will hold no power.
On the plus side, the only reason the bad guys will have to kill him is for spite... but I feel that they would probably do it just for that reason.

Am i right in thinking this happened the same day clintons house caught fire and the same day it was Seth Richs birthday.

He is free already and in protective custody This is just the formalities. There has been a double in the embassy for while now.

They hold incredible power when used in the correct hands. Ie to prosecute.

The swamp is being drained and this is part of the plan.

Do you honestly think the 3 letters don't know every move Assange makes, every tweet, every email, every phone call, every meeting with "persons"....

Do you think that British intelligence isn't in bed with the 3 letters?

How naive can you get?.....JA isn't stupid and knows, he can run, but he can't hide.

Trump can't do jack ****, he can't even control his own staff or stop the leaks.

2018 will go down at the year of the counter resistance. The three letter agencies are loosing power. The release of JA is part of the plan. What happened to his Christmas leak from the CIA.

Yep. Same day.

Apparently, Assange hasn't been seen at the embassy windows for a while now. He could very plausibly be out of there already.

BTW, an EIGHT YEAR Grand Jury? How is that even possible?

WikiLeaks

@wikileaks
US government on why it has decided to close its eight year long grand jury proceedings against @WikiLeaks (expanded in 2017 to cover our series on the CIA). Wait, what? twitter.com...

It was a national security investigation with ongoing releases of classified information over the years.
