No need for imagination as Hungary and Poland already stood up against the EU regarding the "refugees". Those two governments are being called nazi, neo-nazi, racist, fascist and far right constantly in the past years by the libs...

Well this should be interesting in many ways.

You in RSA have exactly the same issue with blacks breaking into your country from central Africa. Israel has exactly the same bunch breaking in too. Would anybody want this lot breaking into your country when you have a land area less than greater Johannesburg?

You KNOW illegal immigrants are not good people because their first act was to break the laws of your country. Good for Israel.

Good people break the laws too.

The laws are man made, arbitrary rules, and can't consider every circumstance encountered by a person in his struggle to survive.

In Italy, for example, it is now legal for a hungry person to break into a grocery store and "steal" sufficient food from the shelves to feed his immediate hunger. The Judges recognize the emergency circumstance that requires the individual to break the law. The individual is not expected to have to starve himself, when there's food available.

Yeah, take the cannoli and leave the gun.

It would be nice if the United States would take the same type of common sense approach to illegal immigration as our friends in Israel. It is refreshing to see countries that actually put their best interest over the interests of lawbreakers. You KNOW illegal immigrants are not good people because their first act was to break the laws of your country. Good for Israel.

Netanyahu for governor of California. Yeah, I’d move and vote for that.

Oh yeah do realise that
and you can bet he'll be called a Nazi. Israel is so small, these people broke into it, then they demand free health care! I got some footage I took somewhere in Tel Aviv on the hols of tens of thousands marching in Tel Aviv for rights when they broke into the place. Some of the neighbourhoods in south Tel Aviv are really dangerous these days, full of Somalians Sudanese Eritraens. Bibi is doing the right thing here

Just wondering, did the Jews immigrate to Palestine, legally?

Will they let the Gazans out of their walled prison?

The dichotomy is glaring from the pulpit again.

Actually, nothing is "glaring" on this issue.

From the Israeli standpoint, they fought for and won control of these areas, and even though the UN doesn't recognize their control of these areas, no one is really coming in with a concerted effort (militarily speaking) to reclaim or reassert authority over these areas.

When a perceived bully is left to bully unchecked, what do you think is going to happen? They're certainly not going to give up the ground that they feel has been legitimately gained.

However, a sovereign nation with borders and immigration laws certainly has the right--and duty--to enforce its laws.

You're conflating two separate issues, even if I understand your point.

This isn't a solution, it's a problem (the immense, unwavering pride in national identity and religion). This is why the ME is full of terrorism and war.

If America lived on a continent where there was that much contention, we would always be at war with our neighbors, too, because we have a lot of similarities in nationalism and religious beliefs that it would cause people to lose their logic and just fight for pride's sake.

But Israel with never rule the world, and they certainly don't now. No one will ever "rule the world," although there is obviously a group of countries who have massive influence over the whole of the world. But that, in due time, will change as well.

Many came from the Jewish exodus of Arab countries starting in 1948 ending in 1953. Many jews wede foeced oit of arab cointries and assets and property were taken. approximately 800,000 Jews were living in lands that now make up the Arab world. Of these, just under two-thirds lived in the French and Italian-controlled North Africa, 15–20% in the Kingdom of Iraq, approximately 10% in the Kingdom of Egypt and approximately 7% in the Kingdom of Yemen. A further 200,000 lived in Pahlavi Iran and the Republic of Turkey.

MI Just to give you perspective during that same time there were 71000 Arabs displaced. The difference was Israel made room for the new arivals while the Arab League did the opisit anyone that tried to enter Arab countries from Israel were denied entry. Many settled in UN camps set up in jordan and Egypt they built walls around them refusing to allow them entry. These areas later were taken by Isreal when the Arab League attacked them. Israel later attempt's to return territory to Egypt and Jordan but both decline not wanting to take on the responsibilities for the refugees. Instead they just closed off entry and made the United States support them thru UNRWA.

Here's some shocking statistics for Americans the US paid $368,429,712. This money is spent on 2,158,277 registered refugees in the West Bank and Gaza. The organization supports and administers 363 schools serving 311,071 pupils, 65 health facilities with over 5.2 million patient visits last year. Subsidies is paid for electricity and food and even pensions are paid to palistinians out of UNRWA funds. We have created an area incapable of taking care of itself because we payed a group for 70 years allowing them to expand well beyond the capacity to feed themselves.

They are "illegal immigrants", since everyone who isn't Palestinian in that area is an "illegal immigrant".

So we're supposed to ignore the 700,000+ from the Nakba? We're supposed to pretend that the Irgun & Stern Gang didn't exist? Whatever.
