Say mostly only one country were going down a list bombing up countries for the larger span of its own existence. How many countries does it have to do so to in order for World War and how would such a rogue country be dealt with by the others? What would be the eventual result if worldwide resistance was eventually futile, world peace? Or??

We have wasted an enormous amount of blood and treasure in Afghanistan,” Trump tweeted in 2013. “Let’s get out!"
On Monday, NBC News reported that the U.S. Air Force was on track to triple the number of bombs dropped in Afghanistan in 2017 compared with last year. As of Oct. 31, the U.S. had dropped 3,554 bombs on the country, the report said.
That stands in contrast to the 1,337 bombs from all of 2016 and the 947 bombs dropped on Afghanistan in the entirety of 2015.

Hmm, okay. Afghanistan. Is that the ONLY country in the region US is bombing? Nope. US bombed some 6 other countries concurrently last year, including Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Pakistan. Many if not all of these countries US has been bombing for several years prior if not decades.

Is tripling bombings the way Trump is 'getting out' of wasting enormous amounts of blood and 'treasure' in Afghanistan? Or is US simply not getting out no matter what Trump simply says? Sure seems the latter not the former, is the case.

As for the actual number including countries being 'secretly' bombed concurrently, it is also only increasing, currently at least 8:

Trump in one year did what Obama couldn’t do in 8 yrs. ISIS rather than growing and gaining ground has finally been reduced in size to a small fraction of itself and only controls its own bladder.

Map shows where President Barack Obama dropped his 20,000 bombs
Outgoing US leader carries out 3,000 more strikes in 2016 than year before

Obama's bombing legacy: The reality is that Obama has increased U.S. military spending beyond the post-World War II record set by President George W. Bush. Now that Obama has signed the military budget for FY2017, the final record is that Obama has spent an average of $653.6 billion per year, outstripping Bush by an average of $18.7 billion per year (in 2016 dollars).

Obama also began an air campaign targeting Yemen. His first strike was a catastrophe: commanders thought they were targeting al Qaeda but instead hit a tribe with cluster munitions, killing 55 people. Twenty-one were children – 10 of them under five. Twelve were women, five of them pregnant.

Thanks for vetting it. Good luck accruing more than crickets and insults here.

Have we heard, the reduction of Iran has begun, just like Iraq, Libya and Syria before it.

Afghanistan is legacy, and I support his sticking it out as he's bombing Al Qaeda's drug labs for the first time in history. US foreign policy had a ton to do with how that nation ended up getting stuck with dope as their primary crop, so helping them get back to normal crops is our responsibility.

Would be nice to actually see the contexts of all these other attacks they do...

It'd be nice to find out it wasnt such a initiation the Iran scene right now. The State Dept. having anything to say about it isnt promising, put me back at apprehension about Trump being under Neocon thumbs again.

The problem with the Arab Springs was Google Hillary CIA etc didnt actually have 'The Day After Victory' plans for them really. Here go rebel and figure it out. So they were all pointless really other than to set fires. Some of those fires continue to explode. FAILED POLICY.

Successful policy. What you think the desired end result of war making is?

To make things better?

Yah, just look around.

Syrian cities turned to rubble, the buried corpses rotting and stinking, the generals gathering in their masses...

Well oppressive regimes should be opposed by their people. So that was the "hook" they spun everyone if they had to explain how it was orchestrated, it was just subconscious for everyone no one even needed to axe.

Yea.. right, keep deluding yourself. You folks will buy anything Trump sells you in his laughable tweets and press statements. While Trump certainly has given his Generals more power to do what they need to do without getting permission every step of the way (which I applaud), the majority of the work was done before he took office. Much like the economy. People show graphs of how the economy has risen since Trump has taken office. But it's just a small view.. if you include the last 9 years.. you will see it has risen at the same rate for those 9 years, and Trump is just along for the ride.

Mosul - the eastern half was taken 4 days into his Presidency - he had nothing to do with it. Took 6 months to retake the rest of Mosul. Yay Trump? Raqqa - most of the forces were SDF - a bit of support from the U.S. - yay Trump?

But it won't stop people from patting Trump's back for his "brilliant" defeat of ISIS, or complete turnaround of the economy.

I agree to an extent. Russia, Syria, and Iraq were the primary parties to destroying ISIS, as well as Iran and Lebanon. But the US did its part with the SDF to clear everything East of the Euphrates. Thats why Rojava has become a NATO outpost with upwards of ten operating bases. Hopefully get some nice mineral rights out of it too.

What on earth are you talking about? If it's anyone who is deluded, it is those who think ISIS' defeat is solely because of Trump. Hint, it isn't.

This was ISIS' territory before US intervention under Obama:

isis.liveuamap.com...

This was ISIS' territory on the day Obama left office:

isis.liveuamap.com...

By the time Obama left office, the Iraqi army was already on its way to capturing Mosul and the YPG/SDF were already on their way to capturing Raqqa. ISIS did not gain much ground against forces which the US was supporting. It did gain ground against the Syrian Army, which was under the auspices of Russia. Critical cities were captured under Trump, but it is not because of him. Those operations were already well underway before he came to office. We must also not forget Russia's involvement in supporting the SAA south of the Euphrates.

According to the Watson Institute for public affairs at Brown university since 9-11 390,000 have died directly in US war zones and another 800,000 indirectly with 10.1 million refugees as at November 2017,since 1990 4 million Muslims have been killed, since world war 2 20 million PEOPLE in 37 countries dead, only Mao and Stalin did better and your on about a par with Hitler.

It seems the USA is not happy unless its killing people and many people here think its a joke, well the laws of Karma are real and your country and my country a vassal state deputy dog pissweak country for blindly following you into every dopey mis-adventure will one day soon reap the whirlwind.

I do not believe what trump says, I believe what I hear from the soldiers saying finally we can really get after these guys, total warfare on ISIS, the handcuffs are off, etc.

A lot of people suffered and died because we tried to fight a politically correct war (I am ignoring the supply drops and money drops to them) and it was nice to see the military actually get on them.

Thank you for this. You have just done some very important work putting this up. It provides the context into how power corrupts and how drives the lust for power and the lust for killing.

Those who would critize my observations would do well to realise that if this lust for power drives the US govt to do these sorts of things to others, it will also drive them to do it to you as well ..... unless of course you are one of them.

Funny how some forget the Taliban just because the media stops using the word but they remember ISIS because the media uses the word frequently.

It seems that some believe ISIS exists simply because the media tell them so.

Yeah, in one year he played more golf than Obama in his whole time as Potus. Great success. Respect. Worth the tax money, for sure! Good that it isn´t my tax money, i rather would pay for 10 Merkels(and i don`t like her, really not) than for one military controlled oligarch, obvisiously debt billionaire and village idiot and generals puppet Trump.

But ok, his "friends"(they play him like the "U"S generals play him), the russians, solved, together with the syrians and the iranians, almost the complete "IS" problem.
But i am not really sure if they did it just to show subservience to the greatest of all presidents of the greatest of all, "gods" own states...

"Gods" own country, turns that a Potus into a kind of an "U"S american pope, for the believers?

Edit:
And again, it doesn´t matter which puppet, that played or plays Potus, was Potus when whatever kind of dirty, anti human "U"S move was done. It´s still the home of these presidents that is responsible for these actions. It´s the "U"S Army, the "U"S Navy etc, not the Obama Army, not the Trump Army, it´s the military of the so called "United" States of America.
