Jesus is mentioned by name 25 times in the Quran

Jesus is a fabricated story made up by the PISO family of Rome...

do a search and you will find some links...

none of the famous authors at the time of Jesus didn't even know about Jesus...

if the Quran can lie about Jesus, what else can it lie about?

The first thing you need to learn is how and what makes for a good opening post.

You may be right...
However you have no proof...

& the theory you’re pushing is from about 1875, and not a moment sooner, I do believe.

Wonder why that “expose” was so delayed...
Oh well.

trying to figure out your conclusions here... I've heard the Piso family thing before.. There is really no weight to the argument... another member wrote a thread on it a few years back.

Perhaps Jesus is mentioned in the Quran... the book is 600 years removed from his life.

Yes... Jesus isn't mentioned by anyone in his time as far as we know... but when Jesus lived he was a nobody

It was only well after his death that the stories about him were circulated, and believed

regardless the Quran isn't the best source of Info on Jesus.... the gospels are... and perhaps the gnostic texts

Piso is a first name, not a family name. But essentially, you are suggesting that a Roman family somehow collected all the histories and written accounts from the whole world, modified them all and then redistributed them, without anyone realizing. That's about 65,000 documents (as far as we can tell). The whole thing is preposterous. The Christian Church was already in existence well before Piso (if you are talking about the Piso who was one of the conspirators who tried to kill Nero and was subsequently executed).

Here's a link to Roman Piso on Rational Wiki.

Josephus and Tacitus, famous historians and writers at the time of Jesus, both made mention of him. Not to mention the Gospel Writers and all those famous writers from the 1st Century Church.

The Quran was written about 400 years after Christianity was established. Muhammad's brother in law was a Christian. Muhammad made a claim that the New Testament mentioned him, which it didn't. Muhammad also ate poison and died showing that he really wasn't able to fortell the future (let alone the present) and was not protected by Allah. He is obviously a liar who told stories and bignoted himself while alive. He wasn't even a prophet.

Of course the Quran is not true.

He/she has another anti-Islam thread claiming he/she decoded an English transliteration of the first phrase in the Qur'an and it supposedly decodes as the Qur'an's "real" author: "Sir Guy". Then he/she lists a dozen or so possible candidates for who "Sir Guy" is, all of which were born in the 1300s, 1500s, 1700s, 1800s, or 1900s. Yeah...

Uhmm... which 1st century writers are we talking about?

Paul of Tarsus, Ignatius of Antioch, Clement of Rome, The four Gospel authors, Papias of Hierapolis and the writer of the Didache were all 1st Century.

Authors who spanned the first and second centuries were: Polycarp of Smyrna, Justin Martyr, Melito of Sardis, Irenaeus, bishop of Lyon, Origen of Alexandria, Tatian, Athenagoras of Athens, Polycrates, bishop of Ephesus, Montanus and Tertullian.

Then there are the dodgy ones we are fairly sure weren't the actual authors such as Titus (Roman Emperor).

The list of Christian writers and references to Jesus Christ grows at an increasing rate almost from the foundation of Christianity, as the faith spread rapidly throughout the world. That much is unarguable.
