We have a precedent for this. Anyone remember the coalition of the willing after 9/11?

Yeah, this belongs in the humor forum. Trump is now officially a laughing stock on par with Bush Jr. I know it was unofficial before, but it's official now.

www.youtube.com...

I can't wait to see Trump brag about this.

"We have the best coalition of the willing. Bigly good. Couldn't be better."

Guatemala will move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, becoming the first nation to follow the lead of US President Donald Trump in ordering the change, the Central American country's President has announced.

Whats so funny? First they said nobody was going to move their embassy to Jerusalem, and now that two have pledged thus far, we move the goalposts with ridicule to try and save face? The only pathetic and humorous thing is this OP.

Oh NOW it's official? What group or body keeps track of when a US President "officialy" becomes a laughing stock. By what metric do they calculate these things?

Congress recognized Jerusalem as the capitol in he 90's under Clinton. Presidents have been putting it off ever since. If it is such a bad idea maybe ask congress to change their opinion?

It wouldn't have been a bad move if at the same time he banned all Israeli dual-citizens from holding major political positions in the U.S. government.

......nah. still would've been a bad move.

Acknowledging an act of congress is a bad thing for a president to do?

You're comparing a coalition supporting a military invasion to a coalition supporting acknowledgement of the need for a peaceful acceptance of righteous ownership. Your comparison is laughable and Guatemala is showing that they have a more intelligent understanding of history and what is right than 129 other UN jokes have.

This particular one, yes.

Then shouldn't congress change it?
The president can only act on the things congress does.
Congress has approved Jerusalem as the capitol.
The current president only confirmed that affirmation.
If it's a bad idea, contact your local congressperson, don't hate the president for following suit.

Wait didn't he say many would follow his lead?.
But if you see this as a win circle jerk away.
