So... are we now to the point where we praise Trump for things he hasn't done?

Dude is like.. the messiah!

He didn't get a Nobel Peace Prize yet, did he?

It's been a year already!

Obama got his in 4 weeks of taking office.

Well this is certainly a comical circlejerk of a thread, but I must have missed this "firing" memo you're prattling on about.

Is this an example of gaslighting or something?

Actually that probably was the goal in the long run. Russia has not wanted to take a back seat to the US and has been shown up time and time again. So to cause the US to faulter and start to trip up, use its greatest assets against it, and that would be to throw the entire government into chaos. And as the government is in chaos, its population is split by ideological lines and ultimately, sow the seeds of discontent in the population to where it starts to slow the US down and ultimately make moves without the USA either catching it or worrying about the USA trying to make a counter move.

In terms of strategy, this could not be going better for Putin.

That has always been the goal. Why has Ukraine suddenly stopped making headlines? What sort of realignment is going on in Ankara? Why has there been so little coverage of the nuclear disarmament treaties being torn up? Meanwhile, Trump is celebrating his victory in the bloody "War on Christmas," and Democrats are cleaning house of overly aggressive heterosexual men. Putin's best year ever.

Textbook. Trump supporters feeling superior by working themselves up over nothing.

Fekking has to be. I've yet to see anything concrete from anywhere not Fox/HuffPo trash that says a legit firing was looming.

Edit: Remember when in elementary when kids use to manipulate each other through outright making s# up & trying to convince other kids they said/did it when they didn't? Guess some folks never grew out of that. They just refined it into adult gaslighting.

So rather than praise Trump for seemingly using peaceful means to impose western style ethics on the rest of the world, you mock Obama. Why?

Yeah, I know. That idiot fell for Obama's BS, that he gave him a Nobel Peace Prize just in the "hopes" that he could get America back on the right track, and because Obama was charismatic and had the hopes of the world in his hands too. As it turns out he was just another black man like any other without any special superpowers and everyone who fell for it was just as much a idiot as those still decrying that they will get Trump for collusion yet...over a year and a half later.

That's what happens when people listen to CNN and MSNBC, they get dumber, they believe lies and just like the NPP secretary, they base their decisions on "hope", illusory visions structured by CNN, and blind hype. Out of all the great men throughout history who have actually saved millions of lives with medical finds etc. I'm glad that you and other Liberals find it a joke that Obama was given a NPP just because he could talk a big game...but not back it up.

Let Obama have his metal. It may mean something to you and to him, but after he left office, some Liberals turned against him, as well as many black people who thought that he was their savior that could walk on water. As it turned out, he was just another Globalist who passed tyrannical policies like the NDAA (which renamed America as a "Battlefield", and citizens can now be treated like terrorists and tortured) and reversed bills that would protect people from the media lying to them. Because of Obama, it's actually legal for CNN to lie to people. He also claimed that he would reverse George Bush's Patriot Act 2, but when it came time for it to expire....Obama resigned the Bill back into action and even absorbed it into the NDAA at 3AM in the morning when most were sleeping. Of course CNN or MSNBC never mentioned something so important either.

So yeah, I'm glad that you're happy that Obama has a piece of metal, that everyone knows now is worthless and was given to him like a kid who was given a piece of candy. The Nobel Piece Prize is now a gift that has been rendered pointless, as a result of him receiving it. All because of him, the value of the NPP has been devalued to something that no one strives to have anymore because it was essentially just tossed to him, as a symbol of an undeserved sense of entitlement. Typical Liberal behavior...putting out the news before the news happens (sometimes that will never happen like Trump and Russian's) and awarding people for what they "hope" they will do...that never gets done. Liberals are living in a dream world and nothing more.

I heard from a friend in the bureau that Mueller doesn't work anywhere close to 40 hours, ever, and doesn't work on Fridays unless it's something public, and then it's a half day max. Anyone confirm that?

As far as Ukraine, it is cause Trump won the nomination and his team was responsible for putting the platform together to state what the focus would be. And ultimately Ukraine was left out of the deal as they did not want any focus on it.

And Ankara, well here again, Trump team did not want any focus on it, in fact, Flynn was an agent working for the Erdogan government, and thus, his influence is there. What did come out and one that we all should pay attention is to a Islamic cleric in the USA, living in New Jersey (I think). If the man disappears, then our government had a hand in extraditing him to his death at the hands of that government. (Something that Erdogan wanted) And that it happened to a full citizen of the United States, where his rights were ignored and he did not get.

The war on Christmas, is playing to the base of the Republican party, the evangelicals who view that they are persecuted and not getting a fair shake, even at the expense of others.

The coverage of the nuclear disarmament treaties, that is being paid attention to. While it is not in all of the news papers, however, when it does come out, and it will, chances are that it will bring more people to the realization that they are in danger and perhaps they should not be following in blind faith at they have been. And the Democrats are attempting to set an example, however, it may be something that is needed, that way they can claim the "moral" high ground, when calling out other people for misbehaving. (Kind of like the glass house and not throwing stones.)

Yes this was Putin's best year, cause he is getting what he wanted and is getting far more than he anticipated. Cause ultimately if he can orchestrate the removal of the USA from world scene, getting the country to no longer be who other countries to look to or trust, how much damage would that cause the USA, if all of the sudden the country was at the center of say being under sanctions, or having very few if any real allies? And funny how Trump is making that happen, right now.

Then you havent been looking much:

Trump's opponents plan demonstrations if Mueller is fired - Chicago Tribune

Can Donald Trump fire Robert Mueller? And how would it work? - CNN

Why Trump can't fire Mueller — at least, not directly -WaPo

Progressive groups plan protests if Trump fires Mueller - The Hill

Shall I keep going?

That's a whole lot of speculation and zero actual set-in-stone firing plans going on. Do you not see a difference between speculation and actually doing something? You've made a mountain out of nothing, there isn't even a molehill here.

OMG! A thread about people preparing to respond if Trump does something mind boggling stupid? Quick! Trash Obama at great length!

ETA: People are talking about what they would do if Trump were to fire Mueller in the same way that the government talks about what it would do if North Korea shells Seoul. It does not express a belief that it will ever happen.
