Bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers in a smoker!

Jalapeños. I used 20 jalapeños in a variety of sizes. The smaller the jalapeño, the softer they tend to be.Cream cheese. It took about a package and a half to fill all the jalapeños.Bacon. I used peppered bacon and applewood smoked bacon. It took about a package and a half to wrap all the poppers. I wrapped them in half a piece each, and the very large jalapeños in two pieces. The peppered was a little harder to wrap around the poppers but has an interesting flavor and kick.

A smoker or an oven. Can also be cooked on a barbecue. I used a Weber Smokey Mountain smoker.

Tools:

Sharp Kitchen Knife (cut bacon and jalapeños)Butter Knife (spread cream cheese)Smoker (optional, oven may also be used)

Got some Ghost and Carolina peppers left for doing this too.
Bought a Standing Rib Roast ( 6 bone in ) too. Making Horse sauce from fresh root radishes.
Warning I use a ton of fresh garlic in the sauce.

I just made that last night for our friend's holiday dinner at the house. I also whipped up a little horseradish sauce too.

Leftover rib roast and sauce makes makes awesome sandwiches. I coudl eat this daily.

3 people, 2 each... $127.95 correction as I found the receipt. $167.95 (worth it)

Also serving up 5 lbs of mashed potatoes lumpy ( cream cheese no milk 3 sticks butter ) also has garlic, black pepper, home made Bacon bits ( not store bought ) and fresh chives. Apply bacon and chives after serving potatoes.... hand made gravy ( from roux to gravy )

Of course stuffing, and 2 bunches of asparagus for vegetables..

I don't bake so it's store bought frozen pie.


Edit: the general idea is Left Overs... Mmmmmmm

Edit: that's should be Roasted Garlic in the potatoes... 3 bulbs worth

Its a nice grill -I dont wate to win grills like that I just refurbish them .
so many people put gas grills out for garbage i strip them out of the gas stuff and you get a really nice smoking grill .
got one I just got out back now really high quilty all stainless steel .
It was probably a 300 or 400 $ gas grill new ( in such good shape I could easily get the gas working as well .
Seams stupid to use gas to grill besides never have like the taste of gas grilled food .
hickory- pecan -oak
even charcoal sucks to grill with wood is the only way to get thous smoked ribs that tast so good .
