The most I can find is #metoo protests from Swedes to show support a few months ago. Not specifically about the rape case in the OP, which also had some level of 'fake news' where a video was supposedly broadcast online (according to initial reports) but the police never found the video.

There is a very serious propaganda campaign going on and being peddled by certain websites, especially when it comes to Europe and crime. It's almost entirely coming from Russia in an effort to not only expand their power to former soviet states but to diminish the power of the west.

You don't have to look very far in the comments of this thread to find people peddling the idea that there are immigrants and refugees committing gang rape all over Europe;

Muslims obviously. Lots of them, flooding in like a burst damn, groping women and tearing their clothes off on sight!

Also, there really is a mainstream media blackout on the refugee/immigrant crisis in Europe.

Rapefugees. No country is safe from The Great Replacement, but those with women in power will be first to fall to Islamic Colonization.

Funny how the number of reported rapes went up in relationship to refugee numbers.

The refugees are absolutely tearing Sweden apart, turning Swedes against themselves... No good at all is coming from letting them flood in. None.

Do some simple google searches like is sweden the rape capital of the world and number of rapes per year in Sweden and are rapes increasing in Sweden and you'll get some mixed results. you were talking about doing googles for facts and rape statistics based on how many time wives are raped per day. Like wives being raped by serial wife rapers is an epidemic that sways statistics. I tried to add some relevance to the strawman we were making in this thread. I mean, of all the rapists who rape their wives have been known i have only heard of one. And that is DJ Trump. But from 2012 to 2016, they have doubled.

I wonder what happened that would have caused this?

My sisters friend told me her hairdresser went to different schools together with the President of Syria and President Assad has been to Sweden and he can testify that there is an epidemic of Swedish rapes by serial raping husbands, who are MUSLIMS!

Please explain to me why the Swedish government site shows that the percentage of people that have been victims of sexual assault has doubled.

Are we to just take internet posters who swear they have spoken to swedes word over the official numbers from the swedish government?

Whoa now...hold on, are we talking about rape or sexual assault? In your same stats link you'll see that there are different stats for both of those things. Sexual assault cases nearly doubled. Rape cases went up only slightly.

It's also important to note that Sweden has a very broad definition of rape and sexual assault. A torn condom during intercourse is considered rape in Sweden. If it happens twice, that's two counts of rape in the country. Someone mentioned the wife/husband aspect. If a husband beats his wife and sex with her more than once, then each separate act is considered a separate count of rape.

What about sexual assault? That's a pretty large increase. In Sweden, any sexual encounter that doesn't constitute rape constitutes sexual assault. Drunk person at a bar grabs someone on the butt, calls them 'hot' and pushes themselves up against them? Three counts of sexual assault.

The numbers 'increased' because the reporting and the definitions changed. Not because of an influx of immigrants (most of which are Christian anyway).

Well if its all gonna be about testimony of people living in Sweden, My wife's mate goes to Malmo a lot as her dad lives there and she told me itd great in the bits where there is money, but she stays away from the areas the immigrants infest because it just isnt safe or remotely pleasant to be around them.

And no sense looking at the amount of assaults reported. Even if they double, you can just brush it off as a change in definitions in 2005.

The statitistics do not clarify, but recent stories are pointing to that trend.But anti-Semitic is definitely on the rise, and is mostly perpetrated by Islamists and left-wingers.
