I did a search and dud not see thus article posted. I thought that this should be substantial news for those here that speak the bitcoin.

Bitcoin.com is one of the world's largest bitcoin sites, having grown its profile this year thanks to the remarkable price surge of the cryptocurrency. But its cofounder and CTO, Emil Oldenburg, a Swedish native, is extremely skeptical when it comes to bitcoin's future.

"I would say an investment in bitcoin is right now the riskiest investment you can make. There's an extremely high risk," he says in an interview withSwedish tech site Breakit.

Although Oldenburg is far from the first to criticize the cryptocurrency's viability as an investment asset, his position as an industry insider does stand out - even as he migrates to its spinoff, bitcoin cash (BCH).

"I have in fact sold all my bitcoins recently and switched to bitcoin cash," he says, referring to the currency that split from bitcoin in August and recently overtook Ethereum as the world's second-largest cryptocurrency. Bitcoin Cash has also gained the strong support of Oldenburg's co-founder, Roger Ver.

Is the bubble about to burst. If everyone sells then it will.

The wonderful thing about a market based system is that for every seller there is a buyer.

When your grandparents, barber and checkout clerk are all talking about and buying Bitcoin it is time to get the hell out. This is based on my experience of 30+ years investing in the market.

No, they created the website Bitcoin.com, not Bitcoin itself.

It sure does. I own some BTC, so in a way don't blame them wanting to cash out, for any what ifs, from a crash-which I don't ever see it going under 100 bucks again- to it just going below 15 thousand again or so.

FYI if you wanted to know the BTC founder is Satoshi Nakamoto(units of the coin are called Satoshis)-but no one knows(but there has been claims) if that is a person or a ground of people.

This was, IMO, extra hype for the bitcoin cash coin being released on the exchange, Coinbase. Lots of shady stuff in the past two days.

Hmmm, well that’s unsettling. Actually if you held bitcoin during the time of the fork, you will own equal amounts of both.

So he sold the newer bitcoin to get twice as much?

Is it the case that Bitcoin Cash is the original Bitcoin?

Never place your bets on a single horse people.

DIVERSIFY.

Ripple has almost broke $1.00.

Litecoin has gone from under $20 bucks earlier in the year to over $300.

Ethereum had some awesome gains too.

Bitcoin cash is having a snip load of money pumped in to it.

Massive buys with corresponding sells on BTC today.

I thought it was the founder of Litecoin, if this is true then it looks dire.
