And it would appear that this incoming 'tax cut' will add 1.4 Trillion dollars to your national debt? Well done, Conservatives...well done!

Debt didn’t seem to bother the D’s when they were in office.

I was thinking more along the lines of Thoreau.

But nice deflection.

You didn't answer the question.

Read their teachings and will understand how I feel this country should be run.

Free market, freedom, limited government.

Those millionaire liberal congressman and defeated presidential candidates are loving the Trump tax cut.

All the while saying it's bad.

What does that have to do with Ayn Rand and her championing Social Security?
All the while saying it's bad?

FYI, Bill Clinton, the democrat balanced the budget, Bush blew it up.

Clinton raised taxes on the rich modestly and the GOP warned “this is a disaster”

Clinton presided over an economic boom to such a degree he balanced the budget, then Bush and the republicans with their wars and tax cuts for rich blew it back up.

We are being pitted against each other and we are falling for it. They love it. God help us.

Edited to add:

There is no space really on ATS for partisan politics.

I'm pretty sure the majority of us have to be realizing that neither the Democrat's nor the Republicans have our best interest in mind.

You didn't answer the question. You should only pay taxes on the services you use or those with which you agree?

That was the question.

In other words, you can't answer the question. Thanks

You’re really not listening to me or others who are questioning this tax bill.

First of all, I'm not against tax cuts for MC or poor people, or even tax cuts for the rich if there modest.

What most people don’t like is the humongous tax cuts for the rich.

Then "most people" should really mind their own business, unless what other people pay IS your business.

Clinton never did that, and it was because of him repealing Glass Stegall, and everyone gets a home regardless if they could pay for it or not.

Don't know why liberals love touting a sexual predator as being righteous.

Maybe toys can't answer the question.

Asking a question about a statement someone made is baiting?

Seek council with the forefathers by reading their teachings about why and how the economy was designed to work.

I don't think our "forefathers" had any idea that we would be talking to each other through cordless devices and being put out of work by robots.

You really told us liberals where to go.

If your right wing policies are so great how come everything is so effed up. Tax can't be too high because the rich get richer every year. Socialism can't be too bad because wealth inequality is at all time highs. Where's the communism because all government has been privatized into little cartels and monopolies.

THERE ARE NO FREE MARKETS IN THIS COUNTRY.

All the tax cuts are going to do is create a HUGE deficit. All the lack of government oversight is going to create another 2008 banking crisis. Maybe this one will finally destroy the dollar. Keep up the delusion you Republicans are doing good things. But I doubt this will end any different than last time Republicans controlled all of government.

Marx always said Laissez-faire capitalism is followed by communism because unfettered greed would result in the governments currency collapse. Once the government's currency collapses people in the bread lines will demand more government not less. See you in the bread lines comrades!

After the Op has pointed out that they do not want, here is the thing to consider:

After looking at the list, and what they do not want to pay, namely things like infrastructure and social services, and safety nets, that is fine, I will grant you that.

However, there is a flip side of that and that is the complaints. Don’t go complaining when the roads are so bad, that it makes travel hard and people can not get to work or home without their cars getting tore up. And do not complain when your medical bills force you to declare bankruptcy and have to sell your home and other things like that. Do not come crying when your child is sick due to the water quality is no longer there or the child can not go outside, cause the air is unbreathable and toxic. And what will you do when your senior family needs for you to move in or to move in with you, for they have no one else to help take care of them. What will you do if you become one of them, will one cry and stress every night, trying to decide what is important medications to ease the pain from arthritis or the myrid of other age related disease, and having food in the belly and a roof over the head?

So while many will complain about the money that is taken out of by the government to provide for these social programs and benefits all, yet when such is not there, they cry and complain. You can’t have it both ways.

The infrastructure of the USA is starting to crumble and degrade, and, as much as what we hate to admit, we have become accustomed to things like clean water, food, a roof over the head, and other nice things in life. And there is a cost for such, and it needs to be paid, or it simply breaks down.
