"Lock her up"!!!

I know right. Any celebrity who commits a crime on twitter should be "locked up". Or are we just being hypocritical?

Buying out politicians, elections and votes? Looks like she's just following the Dem party line.

Using her verified Twitter account Tuesday night, the aging O’Donnell offered $2 million to both Susan Collins (R-ME) and Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) in exchange for a “no” vote on Tuesday night’s tax cut vote (an act that is unquestionably illegal).

Ah democracy!

The best money can buy!

God bless 'Murica!

That's complicated and, admittedly, manipulatively nuanced. In a nutshell, lobbying is considered OK because it is regulated and generally is seen to involve sharing of information used to make "proper" policy decisions and is rarely directed at a single lawmaker rather than bribery which is simply sale of power in exchange for individual benefit.

Rosie O’Donnell Vows to Give Jeff Flake, Susan Collins $2 Million Each if They Vote Against GOP Tax Cuts

LOL. Rosie the Riveter was so horrified by the idea that tax reform might pass, she openly committed bribery.

Bonus: as someone else points out in the comments, her offer probably guaranteed that Collins & Flake would vote "Yes," to avoid any appearance that they were accepting Rosie's bribe.

I'm pretty sure your conclusion at the end is actually right.

Sounds like par for the course in politics. Trump admitted to doing the same thing, tit for tat.

When ? Under what circumstances ?
Do you know ?
I didn't think so

Nah, it's okay because she's a loud-mouthed leftist--she'll be protected.

Plus, she's a "comedienne," so she can just claim that it was a joke. She wouldn't be convicted, even if taken to trial.

Sorry Rosie, the bill passed, Trump will sign it into law this week.

Merry Christmas from President Trump.

Maybe she will do us all a favor and finally keep her promise to leave the country.
